Is there any plans for adding Modular Powersuits mod to the modpack like in the original Tekkit?
No as Tekkit 2 is a sequel to the original Tekkit that is now known as Tekkit Classic.
Can you please tell me what mod changed the LAN system or tell me where to find how to use it? i tried to play with a friend, i'm using hamachi, and i they cannot join using what i believe is the port.
Universal Tweaks changed the LAN settings in version 1.2.3.
Trying to make a dedicated server with the download but the launch.bat thats included just opens the cmd says i hope you are using java 8 then says press any key to continue and shuts and doesnt launch the server and when i double click the forge.jar it launches the usual server launching window but it has errors loading mods and says somthing about missing signatures, anyone know anysolutions to this or has a yt video guide specifically for tekkit 2?

add some Galacticraft addon's like More Planets by SteveKunG or possibly Galaxy Space
given Galacticraft is one of the big additions for Tekkit 2 I think they would fit well.
I'm not familiar with mods and java and I wanna know if there's a way to update the version off the modpack by adding one by one or need some code to make every mod work each other. Sorry the english, thanks for the mod, I lost some nights play this awesome modpack

Hi, I'm having some issues with many features of the modpack. The main problems are the storage of power on Batbox, MFE... and also having problems with the redstone engines, combustion engines... they're pratically not working. Are there any solutions?

I'm struggling with MFFS, can somebody please give link me to a video that will help? I can't find any on my own, also is it possible to power the forcefields with EU, the extractor will accept EU and list itself at 100% but I can't actually get a forcefield to project other than using the infinite power card in the projector. any help is appreciated.
There's a useful guide book in-game for it! You can also craft the Akashic Tome with all the guide books.
I just updated my server to the latest version (1.2.2) and now I can't login. I get internal server error on the client side, sometimes my whole game outright crashes. This should be resolved in the next update, for now you might need to reset your player data or revert to a world backup!
hey there! I know this is supposed to be close to Tekkit Classic etc but it is a quite "short" mod pack imo. Would it be worth or possible to include some other mods to add some bosses and etc (https://www.curseforge.com/minecraft/mc-mods/aether/files?version=1.12.2) -- The Aether?
There are some really strong weapons and armor in Tekkit 2 but nothing to use them against.
Obviously this would be a rather hard core dimension for late game gear (Red Matter weapons and full quantum suite)
So it needs to be configured with much harder config settings to make it viable
I <3 the modpack but I couldnt help but notice how little redpower stuff is included Vs Classic. Is that due to the fact its running Project Red instead of the old school Redpower?
Indeed - ProjectRed is the closest alternative to RedPower. What exactly are you missing? Some things are simply renamed.
I cant seem to find a way to convert BC power (ie. from engines via conductive pipe) to IC2 power, like you can with an Energy Link in Classic. Is this something that can be done?
That is not possible in Tekkit 2 - you can only generate EU power!
I see, is there a reason why Energy Links arent included like in TC? Love Tekkit 2 besides that dont get me wrong
You can use Flux Generators instead :)
So I'm not sure if this is intended or not but the diamond spawn rates are set to less than 1% so it's basically impossible to find diamonds while caving. Is this a bug?
Diamond generation rates are set to vanilla 1.12.2's default :)
Hi, Ive been searching for anwser, but coudnt find it. Do you know I cannot use obisdian dust from IC classic in metallurgic infuser to obtain refined obsidian dust? Nothing happens :c
Mekanism is not included in the pack, but if you manually added it you can check the pack's scripts for a conflicting change.

So i've been playing tekkit 2 for the first time after finally realising my favourite mod pack got updated and i've run into some issues finding information for certain mods such as ic2 all of the wiki seems to be for experimental and their older generation wiki seems to be for version 1.7 instead of 2.2.9 anyone know a good source for accurate information i seem to be lost. Also xJon <3 love that you rebooted this for us.

hey umm new here and trying to use refinery but the oil doesn't flow in with buildcraft or fluid pipes, but oil will fill fluid pipes and I've triple checked input and output position.

could you change Projecte so that it works more similarly to how it worked in the original Tekkit classic? like how you couldn't use pedestals to speed up machines and power flowers, how you could only have either fuel or non-fuel in the transmutation table, and how diving rods had a delay in between each usage.
Pedestals did exist in Tekkit Classic but they were broken in servers, so much less commonly used. In regards to all the suggestions though, feel free to open a discussion over https://bit.ly/Tekkit-2-Issue-Tracker

You could use IC2's chainsaw, or ProjectE's special tools :)
For some reason my friends and I are unable to craft certain items, such as the Aluminum wire from Galacticraft. I'm still able to spawn them in and place them using creative mode, and JEI (or whatever mod Tekkit 2 uses for recipes) places the correct items into the crafting table, but there's no resulting item. We've added some extra mods, and had no problems until now.
