Blightfall - Technic Platform

Hi people. I´m playing Blightfall for about 2 monthsm but now something happened (for the third time). The game crashed (I blame AMD), I didnt lost my save at all , but ALL my waypoints are lost. Anyway to get them on gain? I´m getting tired of marking all again, and my airship is on a floating island :/

Sadly this is a pretty well known issue with custom npcs, the mod that adds the waypoints/teleports. If theres a crash or interruption to the game, or if you load the game and lose internet connection, it nukes all the waypoints. Its very very hard to restore them manually, however, you can usually just teleport to them or turn on flying and fly to them and re-add them.

it opens says unresponding then closes i have allocated 2 gigs o ram to it and it still wont open plz help

I had a problem with Ram also where it says it could only use 1 GB of RAM. I fixed it by uninstalling the java I had at the moment and installing a 64 bit version of Java. Apparently the Java version most people download is 32 bit rather that 64 bit

I HAVE A MAJOR PROBLEM. I ONLY HAVE 2 GIGABYTES OF RAM, AND I CAN'T PLAY IT. PLEASE FIX THIS PROBLEM.

why don't you upgrade to 4 GB ram? most of the time all the computers has at least 4GB so I guess your computer is just to old

even on my other computer, which has 6 gigs of ram, It says I'm only using ONE.

can't install always stuck at downloading the "extra tic" file or something named like that than it suddenly stops and there stays the install button and all the other files remains on my computer I delete them all and try to reinstall but it stays uninstalled

Which mod is setting up the default starting world, and could it be used in tandem with some regularly-generated terrain?

theres actually a few mods. Mostly this pack uses lockdown to use the same map and then applies certain randomizers over it. If you want there are ways to use a "blank" map and generate blighted terrain out from it, but you wont have the floating islands, biodomes, teleporters, etc. so its a trade off

How can I remove the taint in general? Does I have to plant etheral blooms everywhere, or is there a machine existing and how it's named?? PLS HELP :)

you have a number of methods to cleanse taint. Theres etheral blooms, silverwood trees that get a pure node in them, wand focus purity, dawn machine, totem of dawn, splash potion....Follow the quests and they will tell you what to do.

Hey I accidentally broke the biome scanner, but when I went to fix it, it doesn't work. All it shows is the iceberg. Anyone know how to fix this?

if you destroyed a block in creative its p. much impossible to fix unless you revert to a world save from before you broke it.....Dont break blocks on the jaded.

How do I get hellfire wisp from Automagy? I need it for the Runed Obsidian(Wisp) research so I can move on to ichor.

I have an issue where I can no longer change my items in my item bar after moving a dawn machine with a dawn sacrifice. Need to log off, then log back on the server to fix this. Is there any permanent fix that does not require logging off and on?

when I load the world it tells me that the hard core questing thing isn't activated and I cant fix it does anyone know what to do.

there is no point in enabling it anymore, blightfall uses special death/respawn rules, thats why is disabled

when I try to launch blightfall it takes over and hour to load past "initialising" on the mojang sign. Then the game has super low fps after is loads!!! please help. p.s. I have 3g ram allocated to technic

Check and see how much ram you are using, this pack takes a significant amount.

uninstall all of your versions of java, install the newest 64 bit java, set your memory in both java and the technic launcher.

i tried reinstalling this and when i try to install it again it says error deleting baubles from the cache please check your system setting, can anyone tell me what to do?

If you use windows you have to try it by using the systemsteering, click on programms, click on deinstall programms and then you have to deinstall it.

Well you could manually teleport via cheat to each of the locations you lost. If you cant use cheats, open it to LAN with cheats enabled. I use this method for bug fixes and I don't concider it cheating in this case.

When I open up an archimedes ship's ship helm, sometimes it crashes, sometimes it doesn't. It's about a fifty fifty chance. As blightfall takes a pretty long time to start up, this can be pretty annoying...
