Im putting together a server for some of my friends, while also tossing in a few mods of our own. Yeah, we start having issues. Im guessing that there is no easy way to update the server packs version of Forge, but ill ask anyway. How do we update it?

Actually I managed to fix it after half a dozen different methods. Finally, setting up the server from scratch, then dragging mods and config files did the trick.
Can someone help me please, because i recently made a iron chisel and my character, thinks its food?

This is an issue with all modpacks that have tinkers construct and the chisel stuff.... not just Blightfall. Not sure why it happens.
That was intentional by the creator, for some bizarre reason. You put the iron chisel in a crafting grid along with the material you want to chisel. Make sure you're using the right chisel for what you want to do. Because the chisel mod has it's own chisel as well (for a grand total of two chisels in this modpack).
For whatever reason, extra-tic refuses to dowload when i install the pack. How exactly do i fix this? I tried downloading it, and jamming it into the mods folder, but it was ignored. So, fix plz?

How do you join the server? I downloaded and unzipped all the necessary files. what's the next step?

Well... Dont you ever dare to die via Blood Magic means, it destroy's all of your tinkers duables. such as glove, belt, knapsack and all of its inside contents and heart containers!.
And dont you ride an Archimedes ship with a mana tablet in the inventory. it crashes your client.

If you mean that you have glitches that you want to get away or report you can go on this site: https://github.com/talonos2/BlightfallTracker/issues
They help you with any blightfall issues, just make a account and make a new issue and soon they will respond to you. You can also add pictures.

only if the server and your friends install ars magica as well. You might start running into all sorts of mod version mismatches tho.

No not yet they need to update it in the launcher but then the mods also need to be able to update
I need help with two things. One: when I move my cursor to change my view, it sort of trails behind slowly, so I can't turn quickly. I am not sure why. Secondly, how do I unlock the smelting questline? I have all the stuff to complete it except the quests.

1) Do you have a cursor with a button that you can change the speed of the cursor speed?
2) Not sure what you mean about the smelting questline. If you mean how you can unlock the ingot suply from the ''2. Supplier'' Then you have to get the ore first and think you have to first do ''3. Geologist'' and submit 1 ore sample before u can unlock ore ingots

Do hush up
So I was playing on Blightfall but then I found a backpack outside my base that I didn't own. It had some iron ore, sticks and basic beginner stuff. Any one know how it got there?
You might had a mob with a backpack died there.
How do I stop alloys from forming in my smeltery? (I've lost a lot of gold from it turning into angmallen

smelt each metals seperate. angmallen is created by smelting iron and gold together
Im still confused: I had Angmallen, Iron, Prometheum etc. in my smeltery. I smelted 4 gold on its own, but it still turned into more Angmallen :/
I hace checked it again. Only way to make angmallen is to smelt iron and gold together. So I don't know why just your gold is turning into that. Perhaps a glitch?
you need to empy your Smeltry of Iron before you melt down the gold into it. other wise the metal will mix with what is sitting in the smeltry
Yeah, it doesnt what order you melt them down, if iron and gold are in there at the same time, they will morph

You have to right click on the front side (not on top where you click to scan)
