Dear Author,
I am some noob that only plays Creative. I tried to start the game in Creative, but it didn't work. This is intentional, but I believe that it should be removed. I just want to play the modpack for its Thaumcraft value. (And maybe for the other stuff, too.)

you enable creative through the NEI inventory options
Its supposed to be a difficult modpack. im sure youd prefer to do thaumcraft on a regular map and not have to worry about cleaning the map.
Hey! You can go into creative by making a LAN server! enable cheats, etc! ( Thats how I found it!! )

Trying to get a bottle o enchanting using the amulet of withhold. Crash after crash when it's active and I right click on a brain in a jar. Is this a known issue?

I used to be able to play Blightfall, but the other day I tried to play it but it would not load. It got stuck when the red bar at the bottom of the Minecraft loading screen was very close to the end. It says not responding and never loads. Can someone help me? Thanks!

Is there any way to get an "ember heart" for automagy nethermind. It drops only drops from blaze spawners which doesn't exist in the mod. Is there a way to get this or it's merely an oversight?

you can get blazes by breaking a infernal furnace (never done myself), also one of the mob eggs you can request is for a blaze spawn egg (random chance)
It does NOT drop from blazes. It does drop from blaze spawners.
and blaze spawners don't exist in blightfall (unless someone with admin privileges spawns them in)
So I parked my airship with a dawn machine on it in the sky, disassembled it to demount, and now all I'm left with is a flat bed of oak planks....is this normal? lol

You probably parked it above the height limit so the blocks were lost
I just killed the hero in the floating city with a paper blade sword that has life steal on it. The hero looked like it would be a scary fight, but with the life steal i never dropped below 1/2 health. I think life steal is too OP. Is there any way to make it steal less life ? Something like a 30% chance to add 1/2 heart per hit ? That would make the battle more challenging. I think to kill a hero you should have to be forced to make and use healing potions

Combat wasn't a primary focus of the pack, there are quite a few OP combat items. but I'm attempting to play the pack as a total pacifist, only using a safari net on tainted creatures to relocate them, or walling them in.
As much as I want to exploit things I found a bug during my game. While it is possible to eat Harvestcraft Cakes in hand. if they are placed on the ground and eaten like normal Minecraft cake there are no diminishing returns.
I don't believe that is a bug, I think that is intentional
Normal Minecraft cake has diminishing returns for nutrition when eaten after placing on the ground. That;s the only reason i thought this was a bug of some sort.

As soon as you find a division sigil, you make yourself a healing axe, and never worry about food again. It wasn't easy to get that far to begin with, but if you're lucky, you may find one of the 2 division sigils, and be food free very early.
oh yea the healing axe, that was defiantly overlooked,
can I add extra mods to this? If so, please tell me how. Thanks!

Just click the modify button in the launcher, then open the folder, then drop in any other mods you want.
Anyone know a reliable means to get Netherwart? I've hit a wall in terms of lacking the stuff for a lot of Botania and Potion brewing.
Go to the obsidian tower at the bottom of the map and netherwart should be spread out on the island.
How can I add ram cause I have 1GB but need 2GB and i tried when you go to control panel java view and so but it does not work! Can someone tell me what to do because TPPI does not work either...

if your pc have more than 1gb ram, and u cant use it in the techinic, u might be using java 32 bit. try to install java 64 bit, it may fix the problem.
I just want to make sure I do this right...What is the best amount of ram to allocate to Blightfall?

I love this pack! I'm having a bit of difficulty with turning small areas of the Swamp though, some grass in a 10 block radius (just about) refuses to turn green, it stays purple, no matter how long I leave the Ethereal Blooms/Pure Daisy there. Is there a reason for this, or do I need to resort to a more complicated way of getting rid of taint?

The reason it might be purple still is that there might be a tainted node underground. This will produce taint and make it nearly impossible to clean an area.

Just wanted to say this pack is amazing! I got it mainly for the mods it contains, but the setting is just great. Challenging, but not at all impossible. Progression is hard not only for the lack of usual resource distribution, but for the taint creeping on every single corner you explore outside your bubble.
The one thing I think it lacks is meta-info; as in, a proper wiki. I saw someone started one in wikia a few days ago, but that's pretty much it. And there is a enough info about the individual mods, but not so much about the changes made to those mods for this pack.
In any case, it's thorougly enjoyable and I would recommend people to check it out! Thanks for making such an amazing modpack! :D

theres the technic wiki which has some stuff, but you would be better served by looking up wikis for the larger mod packs if your trying to figure out how certain blocks work. Also read the HQM book, it has alot of the subtle changes explained in it.
*by larger mod packs I meant to type larger mods, such as thuamcraft, bontania, thermal expansion,

Thanks for watching! Not sure how I would keep commenting during the fast forward. I record the audio and video at the same time. Fast-forward audio is not understandable, so I'd have to record something over the fast-forwarded part... but somehow I'd have to time it to end when the fast-forward ends... Not so simple I'm afraid. Thanks for the feedback though! I'll keep it in mind.

For me it says while downloading Failed to Download https://libraries.minecraft.net/org/scala-lang/scala-actors/2.11.6/scala-actors-2.11.6.jar I've tried deleting the modpack and trying again but it won't work what should I do?
