Are there any good texture packs out there for this mod pack?

Guys, can i play it with friends? i mean, is there something that we can play together? like server or something :) thanks a lot, its great mode, and i want to try Hexxit with my friend together :D so i think i would be better with someone :P

Hexxit is a great modpack! Played the heck out of it. Had a lot of fun and made a pretty sweet castle/village. We made a server and always played over LAN so it was a great way to hang out with people, converse, and play MC!

Server files or server IP? I have taken a break from Hexxit so I do not have a server up and running anymore. And I am pretty sure you can download the server files from the hexxit portion of the website.

so i try to download it and it says it could not extract file tekkitmain-1.0.zip,but it did not exist

I fixed this by disabling my antivirus temporarily and then logging out and back in. I also installed Java 7 that may have fixed it as well.

when I download the launcher none of the modpacks come up and then I search tekkit into the mudpack search and nothing comes up someone please help

can't get sever to work. every time i try to run it it says codechiken don't have an MCVversion and some other things

I got a: *mod* does not have a MCVersion annotation, ………… . Conclusion: server file is broken.

It comes with the launcher. Click on the game in the Technic Launcher, you may have to click install, give it a few, then press play... thats it.

I just made a tekkit server for me and my friend and neither of us can craft modded items like the boomerang and if we spawn in things like the quarry and place it down it disappears from our inventory's and the spot we placed it in.

you started the wrong jarfile to start the server there are two in the download for servers and u should start the forge.jar file not minecraft.jar

You can just add it yourself :) go download thermal dynamics for 1.6.4, go to your .technic folder, then click modpacks, click tekkit, click mods, and put the .jar file from thermal dynamics in there. Here is the location for the .technic file (substitute YOUR_NAME for the udername you used on your computer) C:\Users\YOUR_NAME\AppData\Roaming\.technic

i can't download this pack through launcher. whenever i try it returns the error. Error downloading a file for the following pack: Tekkit Failed to download http://mirror.technicpack.net/Technic/mods/legacyjavafixer/legacyjavafixer-v1.0.zip Please consult the modpack author.

Updating Tekkit would require updating all of the mods within Tekkit, and most of those mods don't have an updated version for 1.8.0+
