for me it says unable to reserve enough space for 3145728KB object heap. i gave it all the ram it would take max 3G Still Doesnt Work

Also Installed Java 7
It does that to me too
Found what was wrong. The fix is that you have to uninstall java 8 because it doens't work with that yet and then install latest java 7. Then it should work!

server file is broken. I want to run it and it gives the error ''unable to launch''

server fails to generate the map and i did designate more ram. Still not working.

yeah the server is broken, i can't run it. It keeps crashing, i tried resetting the chunks in MCedit but that still didnt work

i tried to download Tekkit and as it starts to download minecraft, i got the Error: "Failed to download http://http://resources.download.minecraft.net/ad/ad7d770b7fff3b64121f75bd60cecfc4866d1cd6". Same Problem at Tekkit Lite

There is one mod that they should add it also fits the theme of tekkit. it is The stargate mod (gregs sg craft)

I'm having major issues with the server download. It doesn't work. Any other official server pack works just fine but I can't use Tekkit. I can play solo just fine but the server will not start. There are so many errors about codechickencore.

I've searched every tutorial far and wide and couldn't find one solution to my problem, when running the run.bat file it will just crash and say for example 30000101 could not reserve enough space object heap i've tried every possible number to lower it and when i eventually tried one i got all this random stuff popping up then it tells me to press a button to close the server, if anyone can provide a WORKING server file it'll be greatly appreciated please help as playing tekkit in singleplayer is fun but with mates it would be so much better!

It could be a memory issue, make sure you allocate enough memory for minecraft. You can do that under the options within the launcher.
2 FUNDAMENTAL mods they should add. IndustrialCraft, Tinkers Construct. Like this comment if u agree.

I would have to agree with IC. That is all I know! These other machines are "greek" to me. I am getting them to work, sure, but I just enjoyed the simplicity of IC.
Do you think that you guys can add Gregs SG craft? i think its a really great mod.

Does the server download work for single player?

Yep, just set up your server then to log onto it, just add a server under multiplayer and put in your LAN address (usually something like 192.168.X.X) and connect!
can i login with my own premium account or must i make a new account on this website ?
