ADD INDUSTRIAL CRAFT, LIKE COME ON PPL
You should add the chisel mod. You can make a more, "Realistic" looking space base if that makes sense. Metal plating and concrete, and such.

Can anybody give me a starters guide, tried google, not good enough. What machines should I build to start off, I eventually want to make a quarry but I'm not sure what to do

you need a power source with the quary before it can build
My personal order that I use is.
~ Grindstone [Applied Energistics]
~ Pulverizer [Thermal Expansion]
~ Steam Dynamo [Thermal Expansion]
~ Redstone Furnace [Thermal Expansion]
~ Aqueous Accumulator [Thermal Expansion]
I couldn't link you to any guides as I do not know of any, however this set up allows you to begin doubling your ores as soon as you find 3 Certus Quartz Dust, which is not too difficult to come by. However you will have to manually crank the grindstone which can be a little time consuming. I will write this into a wordpress or something and link it here.
I wrote up part one, pretty much covering what my comment covered and basic automation. I'll write a part 2 now involving automation of mining and farming and such. Mainly because there are a few routes you can take with each.

did you incert your usersname or email at minecraft it self becose if you chance minecraft your tekkit chance to... (i think)
so maybe incert your given email adres?
