my worlds are all sand no matter how much i try how do i make it dirt? it wont let me customize it

It will not give you mod opsis there is no way to fix
Go to the modpack folder, find the config folder, then find the file called "defaultworldgenerator". Open it and there will be an option that says "lockworldgenerator", set this to false and you will be able to select different world generation types when creating a new world.
Help. Every time i try to initialize it freezes and crashes. Anyone know whats broken and how to fix it?

Right, i've been sitting here for two hours waiting for the 85% to initialize. I now have absolutely no idea what's wrong.
Easy fix. Just Install java 64 bit. Then allocate at least 2gb ram.
You need to go to java settings and put it to 4gbs
The server does not work.
I've watched a series where a gamer played this modpack and ended up going to planets like Kronos or Fronos and eventually got to a planet (like the one in Cloudy With a Chance of Meatballs 2) that was a lot like earth. There were lots of other destinations other than just the Moon and Mars, and tier 4-10 rockets. However, I've been playing it and the farthest I can go is the Asteroid Field and that's it. Have the other planets/stars been disabled?
Be warned, this modpack is clearly designed for single-player. There are several issues with it that cause the pack to be unfit for multiplayer servers;
- Archeology plugin has an easy dupe bug that is so blatant every player will find it through normal use.
- Night spawns of mobs are so intense that it will cause all but the most powerful of servers to lag horribly.
- "Graves" can cause visual duplication glitches that will crash or severely lag clients.
- The 2 "chemistry machines" are fairly overpowered, removing most of the survival difficulty.
- Vehicles cause huge lag, no surprise there.
All in all, it's a good pack. But it's only good if you intend on running a co-op game with you and a friend, or operating solo, where you have some self control over the machines/bugs you exploit. This is not a pack suitable for even a small public server.

The archeology duplication bug is simply this; Open the Analyzer. Shift-click anything in your inventory. The stack will duplicate every time you shift-click on it. This can be used to duplicate anything that stacks, and I mean anything.
So yea, not good for public servers.
Did anyone sort out why it doesn't load past 85%

If It Dosent load You have to wait at 85% for upto 10 / 20 mins just wait it'll load !

Hi, I'm trying to make a server does anyone know how to be able to run plugins, I am uploading mod pack to a server hosting but what do i need to add to server modpack to do plugins, please help my hosting is great there support is not.
There's a way to run both plugins and mods.

hey, i played for 2 days and it worked perfectly fine, then when i tried to open up my world it closed minecraft down and put me back into the mod launcher and keeps doing this whenever i try to launch my world, anyone who knows how to fix this?

That happened to me but I found out you just have to reinstall the pack
