Also, even though NEI is redundant, the filtering options are an amazing QoL with microblocks and Tinkers Construct
when i join the server i always get the Info dat i can't build here in the chat (everywhere i go)

Modpack won't load for me. I get to the "Checking for Minecraft Assets" and the launcher flashes like it's going to load then stays as the launcher. Anyone know what the problem might be?

Aight, probably missing something but oh well. Is there a permissions plugin included? If not is there a good recommendation for such a plug-in? Small local server to cater to some friends of a wide range of ages, and having a relatively nice looking and spawn would be great.

This modpack is great. Would buildcraft be safe to add to the pack? Early game energy is difficult without it. Also, it's buildcraft.
as in, are there any big risks if i add it personally?
I think you have neglected to look at the mod list link provided in Overview.

What your saying doesnt really make sense, but I assume you mean it wont make it to the main menu, and in that case your memory is set too low. Go to the help page to learn whats needed, which is 64bit java; If your still having issues I want a crash log please.

Hey, i seem to have noticed an issue with the rarity of diamond. i started a server a bit ago, and in the entirety of playing it we've only found diamond in chests, it hasn't been found to mine. I'm wondering if this could be a problem with allowing it to appear at all levels without increasing the chances of finding it. Additionally, fishing seems to have changed from vanilla -- with so much from Pams its almost impossible to receive enchanted books, fishing rods and bows with anywhere near the frequency of vanilla. Maybe reduce the chances of receiving pams fish and trout so that it allows the other items to appear more frequently.
Otherwise this mod is amazing, and is becoming everything i had hoped for!

that issue is easily solved, just go to the nether, diamonds are pretty much everywhere.
This will be solved when the ores are de-duplicated.

Also, i was able to add Waila Harvestability to my own pack and it works great, might be a good idea -- so people dont start crying over lost ores!
i would like to report a bug. i have an item in my inventory witch looks like a enchanted scroll when i hover over it with my mouse the game crashes so i can't get rid of it.

I have the same issue, I would love to know if there's a way to fix it, I got it from killing a witch, so I assume it's a scroll of some sort, would love some feedback on what it is and why it crashes the game.
I even killed myself to try and get rid of it, but now I can't even open my world, it says "shutting down internal server" and the game crashes.
This should be fixed now.
I personally can't get into the server. Any way to fix it?

You can use spongeforge, but its not recommended by me currently since it has a lot of issues. Other than that you can look for forge mods that replace your plugins.

So i started a server a few days ago with my friends and we are playing normally then all of a sudden the server just stops and when i try to open it back it says: "The state engine was in incorrect state SERVER_STARTING and forced into state SERVER_STOPPED. Errors may have been discarded". Can someone help?
Sorry for bugging you, but I wanted to ask, will this modpack get the aquatic update?

Unlikely, developers usually stick with well established minecraft versions, so itll probably be a while. Not all developers have even finished working on 1.12.2 ports/updates.
