Hey DreamMasterXXL, i wanted to donwload your modpack but in the beginning of downloading the first mod it tries to download is Ztones 1.7.10 - 2.2.2 version and it cant be found. I went to the webpage of that mod and saw that only version 2.2.1 is available. How do i fix this? I can't even continue the downloading after this error and I alreay tried to put the 2.2.1 version in de modfolder but that doesn't help either.

Use Aroma Backup or do it manually.
so i noticed optifine causes the game to crash, but if you use version 1.7.0 HD_UD3 no crash

If you want a never version of optifine update fastcraft from 1.23 to 1.25
I don't what is actually happening but I don't see any rewards in the quest book for the very first quest so I can't select any and can't claim the quest so I can't progress :/ (I'm playing on a private server on 2.0.5.1 I had the same problem with the server on 2.0.6.0 and I'm using OmgServ for the server)

Hey there. I have played this pack for two months, it's a great pack (though really hard). Just wondering, today when I start the game all level of the quests are unlocked with a nether star. I have reached LV level, but now I can find a nether star quest in my IV level quest linked to a "Clean" energy quest with a thick line. There is no description of the nether star quest. Is it a bug or just normal and how can I fix it? Can't remember I did something special.

If you play in ofline mode this can be happend. Just start the game in online mod and if this not work try to hit command /bq_admin default load
Hope you make a backup from your save file. Maybe your quest file is corrupted
thx, /bq_admin default load works. All the replaced quests come back, but they are completed. Still better than no quest.
If you pla sp you can go to edit mode and repair it. Be careful you load allways in online mode.
Hey , so ive been enoying the modpack for the past 3 weeks , now suddenly the modpack is too much on my laptop , yesterday it took 15mins to load and i was playing normaly with no problems , today it takes 2 hours to just load and then its impossible to play it due to lag , my laptop was able to handle it for the past 3 weeks what do u think suddenly happened ??

Hey there! First of all, i'd like to say that this has been my favorite pack for quite a while now, great work! I also have one question about the Tec Tech mod. Is there any tutorial (or similar) for this mod which would help me get into it? I wondered since the link you provide in the modlist is dead.

in single player mode a worldwide generation is very ugly and irregular, does not have some geito to change it?

using rwg(realistic world gen) worldgen not vanilla or biome o plenty.
there is no way to change the type of world generation in more options
there is you need to disable it in config but rwg is the best worlgen for this pack. Ich you want to use rtg and climate control go ahead and download both. BoP and vailla worlgen not recommend for this pack.
Es werden keine Quests gespeichert und Optifine funktioniert nicht ansonsten ein sehr gutes mp aber bitte fix diese Probleme, danke.

Ich korrigiere, Optifine funktioniert mit der D6 Version aber NUR D6.
Nein wenn du Fastcraft 1.25 installierst und 1.23 raus nimmst gehen auch die neusten Versionen.
Die Quests werden gespeichert aber man muss im online mod spielen und mc gekauft haben.
Is there another version of this modpack without the insanely nearly impossible recipees mod?

Thats the idea of GTNH. Hard recipes to progress. If it is to hard for you choose on of the other rabdom pack with easy recipes.
The one complaint I can have for this pack (and many like it) is that the monster difficulty is not gated nearly well enough. While there is presumably location-based difficulty (Nether, End, Probably other planets) the fact that you are completely incapable of serious combat until you reach a certain level of progression is kinda frustrating.
On the other hand, I suppose that is the whole point of Hardcore darkness. Once you get the tools to light up the world (or your small section of it) you are probably able to at least do some fighting.

and would Optifine work with this pack? it could help with players rendering things, grass, leaves, animated things, or particles? (sorry if you've answered this many-many times before)
Yes Optifine D6 works with fastcraft 1.2.3 in the pack.

Client and server dont have the same version of Electro magic tools. 1.2.7.3 on client but 1.2.7.4 of server side in version 2.0.6.2

Hey there, i lova your GTNH modpack , but i would like ask about the BetterQuesting Unofficial. Couse i would like to update it. My question is: did you make it based on BetterQuesting or did you downloaded it somewhere?

Sourcecode from Better Questing is available on Github. We have received permission from Funwayguy to modify the 1.7.10 branch to our needs, and distribute it with our modpack.
in the latest version there are two types of quartz sand and I cant use the one that you get from grinding up sand to make glass dust.

all these servers that are so called official are all ran by family like they dont accept any1 that creates a application to play on there servers
Wich one you want to join ? Delta or Epsilon or another one ?
Is there any way to up the brightness? I know the darkness at nighttime is supposed to be realistic but my monitor is darker than usual by itself...

brightness is locked ingame you can only make your screen brighter.
How do I get whitelisted for the official server? (Also, I love the intro music)

This modpack is not worth the wait seeing how a majority of the mods are on other more high end modpacks. Community thinks anyone cares about there opinion and this modpack asks for some near-sensitive info that is required to play on the server.
