Bug: When clicking or pressing r/u over items in the NEI interface, the game freezes and crashes. Only happens when connected to a server hosted using the Server download.
Will be fixed in 1.5.0.5 very soon.
If you cant wait try this version on client and server and report if it works

Bug: Every time you craft anything with "Wooden Form (brick)", you get duplicate of it, very annoying when crafting stacks of any bricks. 64 clay + wooden form = 64 clay bricks and 65 wooden forms. Sorry if this is wrong place to report bugs.

This bug is fixed in the new 1.5 update.
I have completed the tier 0 and unlocked the tier 0.5. But when I look in the book no Icons show up.
Whats should I do?

You have to zoom out to see the icon all the way over to the right
In the new version, clicking on anything in NEI to get a recipe for it crashes me and my friend's games. This modpack looks rad but this is pretty gamebreaking for us. Anyone know a way to fix this?

i have the same issue. it used to crash occationaly in previous versions when using the NEI. now it does so evrytime.
also my other 3 frends playing on my server report the same thing.
i have no solutions, but tought i might bring it to attention so you know your not the only one with this issue

Also Glass Dust (flint dust, sand dust) seems to be missing completely.
Didn't expect to hear actual music in minecraft modpack, good choice too. Mod list got me very interested and now i hope the gameplay is as good as everything else :D

I know it's your modpack, and it's for you to decide what to do with it, but have you ever thought about mby making the recipes of upgraded steam machines using the non-upgraded version ? Like Steam furnace into high pressure version by replacing the iron furnace with the steam furnace ? it hurts my feeling to trash the old vesrion , while crafting upgraded one just because quests work like that ?
Also, is there a wasy to remove those coins from singleplayer ? it's annoying to always search for a trash bin to destroy them :P

Is there anyone who knows some good seeds?
How are you suposed to make clay Blocks to make a clay bucket, in Tier 0.5 if the only way is with a iron bucket filled with Water? (you can't make and don't have a iron bucket at that time)
Yes sadly its got overriden by GT++. I add a recipe to the pack. Will be in the next update 1.5.0.2

You mean in the Server Download file?
I think the update may have caused an issue with glass production in Tier 1. Before the most recent update, one could make glass by putting sand in a smeltery. Now, however, that recipe doesn't work, and there's no way to get glass now without very advanced machines like the Arc Furnace. Could you check on this quickly please? Or if there's some way to get glass that I am missing, tell me what it is?

You can make Glas dust with sand and flint dust. This can be smelted in the tinkers smeltery and chisseld to normal glass.
Could we had Big or Extreme Reactor it would be amazing that all this modpack is missing imo
I wish this modpack had Bigreactor it seems so cool
I can't figure out any other power mod that will hold what I do

Hey I was messing around with oregen settings in your pack for gregtech, trying to make tin more common and I ran into some problems. I tried to add a custom ore-mix for tin. I changed config and saved it, but when I open the modpack and launch a world one of two things happen. 1) The Worldgen config file reverts itself to its original form, deleting any changes I make. 2) An odd thing better shown by example..
Pre Change:
I:Density_0=0
I:MaxHeight_0=0
I change it to:
I:Density_6=06
I:MaxHeight_80=80
I launch the modpack/create new world, the config looks like:
I:Density_0=0
I:Density_8=8
I:MaxHeight_0=0
I:MaxHeight_80=80
Can anyone tell me why this is happening and how to fix it? Or just how to make tin more common? This is an excellent pack in all respects except for finding a single vein of tin!

you need to enable the mix too.
like B:ore.mix.custom.00_false=true
you dont need a tin vein casseterite is tin too.
ok whos idea was it to put a fnaf related song as the main theme of this modpack XD (sweet dreams by aviators... which is one of my favorite youtube artists)

anyone got a seed that DOESNT spawn you in the middle of a arctic biome? XD or is that a forced spawn when it comes to biomes

No it isnt. Try harder to find a nice seed.
i will XD lol 90% of the time its always a snow biome with almost none of the good biomes within a few hundred blocks XD
I can't seem to get a server to actually launch, and touching the 'startserver.bat' flickers it for a split second and then closes itself again. Plus i can't seem to get enough ram used for the forge.jar launch. can anyone help me here?

I nee to know what is written in the console so open up a window first and type the start command maually(look into the bat file)
You need min of 4 GB ram for this pack or you have to lower you graphic options a lot.
I have 6 gb to it, i can get it to launch now. however i cannot get myself or even my friends to join the server. and yes i have the ip put in.
(reposting older post cause no one seems to elaborate for me XD) is the spice of life food requirements suppose to be 24 different foods... as that is a pretty hefty amount (nearly an entire inventory not including hotbar). if it is then i understand but its pretty huge (i can provide screenshot proof if its not actually suppose to be there)

It's 24 pieces of food you ate, and you can eat the same thing 3 times with 100% efficiency, so you only need 8 types of food to do it (and usually when you go out mining, exploring and stuff, you will do just fine with 1-3 types of food, depending on their quality). Also there's this bag you get from one of quest that allows you to keep 3 types of food inside (it's like a backpack from other mods, it takes one inventory slot, and when used it opens chest-like inventory), and a lunch box (basically better version) that you can make once you get to iron (tier 0,5). Oh... also you can just have a lot of berries to munch on (getting 0 food from them) to artificially reset the counter ^^
dreammaster i tried that and the guy didnt help me much and shut down my post XD, thanks chroma it was just super confusing since it said 24 instead of 8 or whatever (as other modpacks i play usually state the exact amount of types instead of amount needed to eat). now i feel more confident in playing and beating the pack :D
Hi, I have my own server with this pack and it was working in an eariler version but now whenever I try to join I get a "Fatally Missing Blocks and Items" error and I can't figure out why. If you could help that would be very appreciated. Thank you.

Did you have world Guard installed. With this little Info i can only guessing.
Well I did what I usually do, Its just going to be between me and friends so i downloaded the server files and i just ran the basic stuff and set the recommended server properties.
