If you can, you should add Mr.Crayfish's furniture mod, treecapitator, and mekanism. (I don't know if those are in there, if i overlooked it but i believe it isn't in there.)

Adding more mods make the load time even longer. Mekanism i wont add we have enough tec with Gregtech. We have tinkers tool so not need treecapitator
I can't share loot with my party members on the Quest Book whether the "Share Loot" option is set to true or false.

You cant share loot anymore. Only one loot for the party. Before one did the quests and all the party members get enormeous stuff. We disabled it. Need to check with the newest version. In 2.0.8.0 we change to BQ3
Recently reinstalled this modpack because I love to play, but the only option for world generation now is Realistic Alpha, and the game will not allow me to select anything else. I tried deleting the RWG mod from the modpack, and now Default is the only worldgen option. Reinstalled the whole modpack, and it's back to Realistic Alpha again. How can I fix this? I would like to make a Biomes O' Plenty world again.

There is a config file DefaultWorldGenerator. Here you can decided if you look a terrain gen. The pack is made for RWG. Vanilla looks very ugly maybe BoP works too. Better use RTG if you dont like RWG. Add the mod climat control also and setup the config file.
Hi, items and blocks not shown in hand while in third person view, found it by noticing empty hands of my friend when playing on local server, checked - same thing happens on single player, looks like its technic_launcher bug.
No its not a technic launcher bug. We dont found out which mod cause it. Need to dig deeper. sorry
how much ram would you recommend on a server to run this pack?

Depends how much player are on the server. I would say 16 min if you play only with 2-3 people maybe 8. 32 is even better .
hello could you please help me, i try to play this modpack but it's working so slow that it's unplayable. I have already allowed for it to use 5 GB of RAM and it's still really bad. Every setting in game is lowered too. i just want to know do you think it's just my pc so bad or am i doing something wrong?

I dont know your computer specs. Ok you said you use 5GB ram but idk what cpu or Graphic card you are using. GTNH eat allot of ressources.
i menaged to turn it on and even play it normally (it's a great modpack) the only problem i have with it aside from random freezes for 10sec to 5min) is when i craft something (for example flint sword from tier one) wit the rest of the items from previous quest (for example rest of my flint tools) even if i have it with make i have to do another one ( or when i have something from village like parts of a gear from tinker mod)

That sound if you try to craft stuiff stack size or your computer is too weak for GTNH. Hard to say
I am having a problem, I've made a dedicated server and me and my friend can connect, we are both whitelisted but when we join the game freezes and says not responding, I'm not sure if waiting a while will do anything because we both closed them when they stopped responding. Both of us tried playing in single player and it worked fine, any idea what I should do to fix this?

I need more infos. Are you running a Forge Server or Bukkit/Thermos etc.
Maybe server to low specs?

I installed your GT New Horizons server on my computer. There was a problem that the server doesn't work all the book quests, but in singles it's OK, tell me what to do, please..

Thats sound like you not play in online mode or have a hacked account.
How do you fix the issue of crashes ? I've noticed that with some modpacks I use, usually over the course of my play through(Which takes awhile)I'll have one game ending crash. From then on, I can't play that world again, it'll crash upon loading.

There are so many mods already in the pack. Ik mystcraft is nice but to much for this pack. sorry
How do you fix the quest book if it broke completely? Like all the quests are gone and restarts cant fix it.

The Modpack is so huge allready and i cant add any mod to it anymore.

Yes buy it not very expensive 20-22€ or 25$.
The latest version 2.0.6.8 keeps giving me ticking entity when fighting zombies in single player.

Which version of GTNH you are using ?
Hi, I'm huge fan of TerraFirmaCraft & Tekkit and this modpack (GTNH) really caught my attention, because it seems to be ideal combination of technic Minecraft & more challenging gameplay. I've read some information and I've found out that there is version 3 planned for this year.
So I would like to ask if it's still worth to start playing new world at version 2.0.6.8 or if it would be better to wait for version 3 so I don't have to start over when v3 comes out.

Version 3 is planed but need a long time to develop. Sure start with 2.0.6.8 . version 3 it will not be out this year i guess.
