Hi! I have a really bad issue causing a lot of lags for me , as soon as i enter my world (solo play) , i have 3 messages from the game "An error has occured while checking BetterQuesting version" , "An error has occured while checking Standard Expansion version" and "An error has occured while checking RF Expansion version" . I have a really good computer (good enough to play witcher 3 on ultra in 40-50 fps) (16 gb ram and 5 goes to minecraft) , and still i have really bad lags and fps drops all the time . I'm guessing it all because of this bugs , help me fix them pls

Also , sometimes this problem does not occur, and i have no lags ( a little fps drops , but not as hard as when this probllem occurs.
This issue you mentioned in your text is nl a display error. We using an older version of Better Questing. I wrote the mod guy allready but he cant do anythig against it. And this message cause no lag.
Hiya! Sorry to bother you, but I'm having trouble with the wires. I have tried using multiple wires, but they all seem to have a similar issue. They follow the same system as the pipes, not connecting unless placed against something, as they are supposed to, but the wrench cannot break or connect them. Is there anything I can do to fix this? Thank you!

Searched through GitHub, and turns out it was just me not knowing how to play the game!
(If anyone else is wondering, use wire-cutters to connect more than one wire path)
Using Wiecutter for wires and wrench for pipes to connect them.
why cant i claim the quest wooden crossbow? is there something wrong with the name? because in the quest it is named ?Wooden Crosbow

I can check the quest if there is something wrong. Best would be make a issue on github if you not have this done allready.

There seems to be massive memory leaks.
I tried playing this for a few minutes, and it's taken up 5 GB of ram already, where it said it should only be taking up 3 GB. Eventually, my game froze up, and I'm running an I7 7700 with a GTX 1070 and 16 GB ram.

Give it 4 GB ram and all went fine. I run the game with a i5 a radon r9 380 and 16 gb with no issues.

Goodday everyone. I'm having this kind of question. But i'm not sure is it related to be here. Currently trying to get command blocks to work in game. And the /Summon command doesnt want to work on a closest/all players when they typing something in chat or changing the score board. Any tips i can get them to work? much thanks early

Never worked with Command blocks but maybe you need to enable cheats idk.
Is there a way to get Minecraft Comes Alive to work with this modpack??

Did you play mc in english or another language?
Which Quest cant claimed. If it is the second one you need to submit two wood logs and get a torche in return.

Hi, I'm trying to launch a webhosted server with GT New Horizons, but when I try to log in it, I have this error "outdatded client". I used the Technic launcher to get the client, and the link on the mod's page to install the server. What's wrong ?

just a quick question (after restarting many times cause IT REALLY REALLY LOVES SNOW BIOME SPAWNS XD) will you fix some of the items that require a very specific exact type of item that has many other variants (say wood?... the bed quest literally forces me to use oak wood and oak wood only, and atm my current playthrough has a lot of redwood and spruce and a lack of oak wood)

Because of the fence i guess. But you can get this as quest reward if you make the Schield Quest.
one small thing, when can i start getting tinkers swords? XD i stumbled across 2 villages which got me some flint tools, but i cant make a sword blade .-.
Wait until you got iron (iron gravel from Tinkers works) and make some iron blade. So long you need to use flint gt sword. Not that bad set all on fire :)
true i do enjoy the fire aspect XD free cooked meat lol. iron and a actual working tinkers smeltery is a long ways off ._.

If you play on official server you need to fill out app on gtnewhorizons.com/whitelist
The server file is broken. Launching the server causes forge to force it to stop after all the mods have been loaded, apparently due to a broken mod (if not that, then no reason at all). The server.properties file is created but not filled out. It says "The state engine was in incorrect state ERRORED and forced into state SERVER_STOPPED. Errors may have been discarded."
Yes this happend from time to time too. Restart it and close is with task manager will help. Restart and it works

How do I make it run better cuz I love the mudpack(with some personal additions of course but) max it runs at like 17fps with constant stuttering. And yes I read the thread, How do I install optifine D6 I went on the site and downloaded it then my mac was like( cannot open cuz no applications can open it. Do I just drag it into the mod folder of gt or???

trying to do the first multiblock quest , telling me to collect gravel sand and clay dust but its not detecting the resources but it did detect a part further down the wooden form(brick), can i just continue it from there and wil it complete or is it jammed/bugged ?

Did you play sp or mp?
Form was crafting task collecting items is a retrieval task that are sometimes bugged.
Did you using English localizer in the game if not change your language to English and try again. Hit the submit button.
Did you are using a legal copy of mc? if not buy some.
multiplayer, in english and legit copy
but its just that one part of that 1 quest, all others are working
The second quest have a consume quest so you have to give the quest 2 logs of wood. Maybe i flip this.
im having this issue now with other retrieval tasks like the different iron ores one, just not detecting it same with the first step of the smeltery quest so weird
also i have tried in SP and there it works just fine
i managed to fix the issue, i just copied the mod from sp to the server and it worked

laggy? Give the Pack 4 GB ram and install optifine D6
In the latest version, 2.0.2.4, wires won't connect to each other and my machines aren't receiving any power. Possible bug?

Yes we fixing it and bring out a new version soon.
When i hit the play button it loads for a little bit but stops at the same point everytime, Ive tried reinstalling the modepack but still wont load fully and I have enough storage, I dont know if I have to wait like an hour for it to load but please look into it thanks

Give the pack 4 GB. After 5-10 min when you have a old computer up to 12 mins time to load.
I couldn't make wire from plates and i don't have still a wiremill so how can i make wire?

Indeed a bug. Will fix that but will fix it that only low tire wire can hand crafted(Tin, lead, copper etc)
Is red alloy wire inulded that low tier because we can't make ciruit without it.
I add it back like it was so red alloy too.

If you hit two times the forward key you sprint normaly. Try to look into your config window and look which key you have to use to not sprinting.
No I mean, I press W once and I go sprinting forward. It only happens on this pack.
Edit: Figured it out! It's a kind of toggle system. Press ctrl once to sprint, hold for a few and stop moving to stop.
