Can't make Iron Blocks, or Watermills... Some of my friends can but myself and another can't... No difference in our games whatsoever other than this, stopping me from being able to do anything in the modpack. I can't even use a compressor to make the Iron Blocks

I don't know if you already know or not but the Portal to the Deep Dark from Extra Utilities does not work. Is this a problem that only I'm having or one that everyone has?

but when I play this pack or Stoneblock 2 (only 2 I've tested) I'm having major tick lag, on avg 2 fps to play. I have 8 out of 16 gb allocated, and have no other issues, not even using my hardware (Ryzen 5 2400G) completely, also running all Minecraft instances off an SSD.

I have tried updating drivers, different Java versions, closing all background software. I am totally lost and its really getting to me. All these issues are in singleplayer and on a server. Please help if you can.

Tick lag is really hard to pin down. It could be one specific mod or a combination of mods having a conflict. The only thing I can recommend is tone down the amount of ram you're using. 8 Gb is too much, do 5 maximum. When it comes to the old 1.7.10 I really have no idea what causes what because it can be so random at times. You could also try removing Optifine from the mods folder and see if there's a change.
When FML tries to load Decocraft, it suddenly starts using a ridiculous amount of CPU, then hangs. I'm using an i7-4790K, and running Arch Linux. Any suggestions?

Update: it worked directly after sending the comment. It might have done so because I used cpulimit to hold it at 90% CPU usage before it began loading Decocraft, then killing cpulimit once it had reached that. The other possible fix is writing a comment on this page while it loads.

It does tend to freeze up on decocraft because decocraft has a LOT of assets to load. This also tends to happen with Mcheli.
update from a lot later: I got better computer parts, and bumping the ram space up to 7 GB let it load. It's currently using ~3.5 GB RAM while running.

Hey :) I wanted to say that I love this modpack and I wanted to thank you for creating such a wonderful modpack, there is just one thing that I wanted to ask if it can be added. I would suggest the TrainCraft Mod (http://www.9minecraft.net/traincraft-mod/). It would really fit to Railcraft and you could create an awesome city system with your friends on servers, I hope that this is understandable :D (Probably not the best english, I'm german haha)
I am really enjoying this modpack (one of my favorites), but the only suggestion i have is that you add the GraviSuite mod. Seeing as it is made by the same mod guy that made Advanced solar panels, and that it fits perfectly into the already existing mods it would be perfect.

Hey love the pack but I got and got really excited when I saw immersive engineering as one of the mods listed yet there is no immersive engineering in the pack I even tried adding it myself and it didn’t work can you help maybe I missed something or read something wrong

Looks like you didn't update the client properly, I updated it, but it came with the old mod versions, while the server has newer versions, this caused incompatibility between client and server. My friend had the same issue.

There seems to be an issue with galacticraft loading and it seems to halt the whole process of starting up the server pack you made

Its saying in the run-server.bat file that "Galacticraft update check failed! Trying again in 15 seconds". Does it 3 times and stops. One time last night it said it loaded the spawn area before finishing the loading sequence, but it wasn't the .jar file so I couldn't join the server

Galacticraft usually says that multiple times for a while once the server is done loading. I've had that happen a lot and it doesn't affect the server being joinable. The batch file I made runs the forge jar file. You can open it up in notepad and see for yourself. The reason you weren't able to log in was probably because of something with your ip. If you're joining the server from the computer that's running it, you have to enter "localhost" as the ip. (without the quotes)
If you're joining the server from a different computer on your local network, you have to find your machine's local address and enter that as the ip. If joining from a separate network, you have to use your network's ipv4 address, and make sure to port-forward. There are tutorials online for that. Hope that covers everything that may have been causing the issue, cause I tested the server package myself already and it worked.
Ok thanks, I got it to start working. There was something wrong with my router not wanting to use the port i made. Also you might want to delete the " -server " line from the bat file file. it seemed to make it not want to run because it couldn't find a file labeled server.

Let me see if I can upload some.
Okay, server package is up! Click the blue button on this page that says "Server Download". All you have to do is port-forward and then you can run it. Just extract the zip file to a normal folder and put it somewhere you'll remember. There's a run-server batch file you can use that'll make running it easier. Let me know if you get it working.
Thank you :) Also, in your startup file, you can remove PermSize=256m, since, support for that was removed in java 8. Oh, and you should include one for linux users too ^^ just create a file called run-server.sh, then you can just copy and paste the whole java line into there.
