14.23.5.2855 is the current version of Forge in use. Please do speak to us on Discord in the future as I don't get notified of comments here!

4GB is the recommended amount. Up that to 5/6GB if you use a x128 texturepack and or shaderpack.
can anyone tell me the system requirements for this cuz my friend has a low end pc and we are playing on a server.

The same as the normal Minecraft requirements, but requires at least 2GB to load!
Is it likely the classic pack might be updated to use somewhat newer versions of Minecraft in the future? Like the village and pillage update, etc?

If the powers that be will it! The only thing with that is that many of the 'core' tekkit mods are no longer available past 1.12.2.
I will be releasing a more updated, similarly themed modpack in the future though whilst maintaining this as usual.
Will applied energetics eventually be added?
It was in the pack once, it may make it into the pack again in the future

Yes, you'd need to add the Optifine mod to your mod folder and then add shaderpacks via the shaderpack folder
Hey there! I'm having a little issue with the modpack where furnaces don't stack items like sand and charcoal, but they'll stack in my inventory. Is this intentional or a known bug? Any help would be appreciated, thanks!

Hello! I wanted to comment and if possible help me with this problem. Earlier in this mod package if I remember correctly, you can play in LAN mode, one player opens the LAN game and the other player can enter. But in these times, several months ago this could not be done ... I would like to be able to play that way so I don't have to download a server and have to dedicate more resources that my PC doesn't have. Have a nice day!

Hi, unfortunately I dropped support for built in LAN some time ago. Modded MC does not work well with built in LAN because certain mods expect to store data for a single user and only store for multiple users when run as a server.
Resource wise, there would be no major difference from running a server alongside the pack. Regardless of whether LAN worked or not, you'd still need extra resources to be the host of a server
I was wondering if it would be possible to have the ability to use project e to create coal, dark matter, and red matter. I know you said you wanted to limit the ability of the mod, but not being able to progress in the mod is frustrating as it was designed for you to condense resources like coal and dark matter. I don't mind some grind but it took me two days and about 70 stacks of coal to make one ring in the mod, and it is simply a huge grind to even get red matter.

Hi, you can use the /projecte setEMC and /projecte reloadEMC commands to manually make adjustments. Or delete the projecte config to get the default values. I'm quite happy with the balancing, some automation can definitely make it much quicker to acquire coal than you described.
Hello, I would like to report some bugs (if theyre intended, then Im sorry)
1) food doesnt atract animals to follow - probrably bc. of the hunger controlling mod
2) not every item has EMC - e.g. obsidim, RM / DM and so on
3) DM / RM tools, cant function properly -> even after changing mode, they wont mine whole vein of ore, or mine by chosen mod
4) Nether weather is changing every 3 minutes to bad (floating lava particles, less vision) but 10 minutes to back into clear weather...
5) Tinkers construct allows you to dry zombie meat to monster jerky, but if youre drying more then 5 next to each other, they wont dry

Hi.
I am aware of bug #1 and hopefully will figure out the cause soon.
#2 is intended balancing, to prevent ProjectE being capable of progressing all mods. #3 Sounds like a misconfiguration on my part, I will look into this and have it sorted by the next pack update. #4 Is part of the dynamic surroundings mod, you can disable that via the mod settings at the menu screen or in-game, or via config files. I will look into #5, thank you for the reports :)

Those should do the trick, if not please open a ticket on Discord and it will be looked into- as this used to be a problem in the past.
I attempted to download the pack, and every time I attempt to launch it fails to start. It gets almost completely done, then it sends me to a screen that says Minecraft failed to start and that it is potentially caused by Just Enough Items. I'm not 100% sure what the problem is but if you have any suggestions I'd appreciate it.

I wanted to play the 1.12 pack but with the difficulty of the classical pack but I can't find the mods that make it ''dificult'' such as the increased hunger and damage from mobs, and would be really grateful for some help with this.

I don't believe I've modified mob damage in any way, though I do use AIImprovement to make them more dangerous. Hunger is controlled by Pams Harvestcraft
