every time i press play the minecraft startes till it says installing then the game craches plz Help.

you need a 64 bit java to run this modpack efficiently. if you have a 64 bit operating system then download a 64 bit java from java's website. after you've done that try to allocate an extra GB of memory to the launcher in the launcher options menu.
i press 'install this mod pack' and it comes up with click to copy to url can someone tell me what url stands for? :(

Copy the url, then on your technic launcher paste it in to the "Add pack or Search" field.

soooo fun but can you say another one is easier than alpha? because when i go to the wilderness a bunch of tainticles spawn and kill me in like 5 seconds :I

I know it says Omega is the most difficult, what with being underwater, But i've found it is far easier than Alpha for example, because you are nicely isolated from everything, you can decide when to make contact with the outside world on your terms... anyway, have a go at that and see what you think,,,,
I got problems with blightfall, when I launch it, it finishes initialising and then it randomly closes and goes back to technic launcher. PLS HELP!

Look at the crash log, chances are you need to increase the memory. I can pretty much guarantee this pack won't work on 32 bit java as the most memory you can assign there is 1g. it runs well on 2 gb and you may want to increase your permgen memory to 256.

you just need to update your java version to a 64 bit then allocate at least 2 GB of ram to the technic launcher in the options menu. you can only run a 64 bit java if you have a 64 bit operating system though. be sure to maybe look up some tutorials on youtube if you'r having trouble with the pack still.
Spent some days in alpha biome and want to go to other biome. The swamp biome for some waypoint quest. Problem is the teleporter stone doesnt seems to work. I left clicked, opened the gui but there is no waypoints there, not even to the ship. Am i missing something?

You have to travel to the other teleporters before you're able to teleport between them
The problem is i cant travel back to ship. The biome transporter gui is empty. Just has a travel button in the bottom that doesnt do nothing
Ok, just saw a walkthrough video. I tought we could go to the ship and from there to other biomes via pods. Guess i was wrong. We actually need to go to said biomes on foot or boats. God help me...
Okay, so I know this is going to sound kind of wimpish, but I died like 300m from any discovered teleporter because of a guard that killed me in a single hit in Peaceful mode. My inventory was chock full of loot I had collected, I was on my way home, then boom! I lost it all. How do I go into creative mode to gather it back? I know, it sounds kiddish, but please. At least, how do I recover all of my stuff?

I really love this modpack, spent hours on it just exploring this wondrous world. I never spend as much time on a modpack as I did this one. But then I died, and I am pretty annoyed I can't recover it. Normally I would recover it as normal, but in this case I cannot, since I would get killed again, and I don't know how to enable cheats or cheat mode.
Open your world to lan, make sure you enable cheats. this will give you the Multiplayer console commands, including difficulty Peaceful, gamemode creative, etc, to allow you to reclaim your gear. There's also a command to give yourself more lives.
and while your idea of fun (exploring the world and playing the game rather than trying to survive against horrifically stacked odds) may not be the same as someone else's, there's nothing Wimpish about wanting to play a game your way. its your game.

Apart from a few annoying bugs, such as tp history wiping... and then reappearing after a game crash, best game I have played in a while. Spent many hours playing. Slightly too many hours playing.

If I move my curser to the right for 1 second then I crash... Happened twice, Fix?
For me it just crashes whenever I enter my word :l
I don't have much of an epic voice, but if you're interested, I could make some BGM if you're gonna do any cut-scene type stuff.

any fix for mac? everything loads up fine. but if i move the game crashes.

Um, excuse me, but I don't know where else to ask this. I had to uninstall and reinstall to get the new update due to a glitch with my version of technic since I use the newest versions, and the new 2.0.3 update seems to not have included a savefile this time. Could you make a temporary link to download it manually? I don't want to have to uninstall and reinstall again...
just create a new map whithout changing anything it will create the map automaticly.
For everyone asking for an official server, that would not logically work, as this is a game meant for 1-15 people, so if someone new connected, the world would be changed up a lot more than the normal experience and they would not be able to enjoy it to its fullest. He has released a server for 2.0.3a now, and he does care about his community, he is just busy.
This may be odd coming from someone who does not even work on the modpack, but its just logic.
three weeks and still no fix? guess they stopped caring.

He got hired by technic to work on their next big project, so he is probably busy with whatever amazing thing is next lol. can you blame him? also he is pretty active in answering questions on the forum he linked in the last update.

Talonos, What is up with the server version 2.0.2 none of the client versions work with it and there is no "Read Me" file to understand it. I have seen videos of people playing co-op online and I don't understand how they are able and everyone else can't.

I have the same problem. Trying to code it down..
After some time of troubleshouting I've discovered the server DL link is 2.0.2, but the client version is always set to 2.0.3a whatever you choose. Maybe a repositiry error.
It all loads up, but as soon as the minecraft homepage thing pops up, the whole thing crashes. Techic and all.
Can someone send me a version of this pack that not in this launcher??? Email it to me or post a link [email protected]

Hey so has anyone tried to host a server for this? It claims I do not have the right mods on my client to connect to the server. Not sure why because I downloaded a fresh copy of both the server and the client and still have this error...
