Dropbox file isnt downloading for me. Its broken
Me too
When is the 1.7.10 version coming? :)
A dropbox file isn't downloading, so it won't let me get the modpack.
Dropbox file isn't downloading. Which means i can't get the pack, ;-;
Same
same
if it's not already there, Growthcraft would make a fine addition.
Also check out minefantasy.
i was playing for 2 mins and already enderman in my face
The problem I can into is that because vanilla tool recipes are disabled, you can't craft a hoe, and you can't make a mattock until you reach copper tier, which requires a smelter. So you need to create a smeltery before you can pick and plant seeds out of dirt.
That's the point!
It's made it that way for realism and difficulty, and I like it better. You might have to travel around more in the first stages so you don't run out of food, like a hunter-gatherer. Farming is more advanced, requiring more advanced tools.
how many mods have this modpack
????
What?
If your asking how many mods it has, I think it has about 55
yea the pack has 55 mods
i had this modpack a while back... i dont remember why i uninstalled it XD. this modpack is awesome. the best ive seen for a realism survival.
Thanks :D
It helped! I've reinstalled the pack and now the night was as scary as before.
Thanks for your help! :)
No problem :)
Great modpack! I love it, but I have a problem with the advanced darkness mod. When I download the
pack, it was working very well, but then, two days later, it wasn't working. I tryed to reset all video
settings, but there was no darkness any more. I read, that a couple of mods doesn't like the advanced darkness mod. Can you help me somehow? (If I have mistakes in this text, please ignore. I'm not very good in english, because I'm in Austria.)
Did you do anything to the brightness setting? First, I would try removing hardcore darkness, starting the pack, closing it, and putting the mod back in. If that doesn't work, you could try re-downloading the modpack, just save your worlds first.
Ooo, you added it! Yay!
Flint/Bone > Copper
Copper > Iron
Iron > Tin
Tin+Coppper = Bronze > Diamond/Obsidian
Aluminum+Obsidian = Alumnite > Ardite
Ardite > Cobalt
Cobalt+Ardite = Manyullyn = Top tier
Hi did you mean to put a less than sign instead of a greater than (>) because the way this is shown it means bone/flint are the best XD
No, I meant it as an arrow of progression, like flint/bone --> copper XD
2 Things: 1, you can turn 1st person view on and off with F6 (Default)
2, I have no idea how to download mods by them selves (modpacks are fine, but that's because they're on a launcher.)
1. I didn't know that, maybe I'll add it, if I make sure people know how to enable/disable it.
2. It's not that hard, for most mods you just get the right download link and put the file in the mods folder. For Render Player API, you have to open the zip file and use jar inside it, not the zip file itself. If you want, the download links that work are:
http://minecraft.curseforge.com/mc-mods/59148-improved-first-person/files/746513
http://www.mediafire.com/download/r2g3qt9vi46r0z6/MC+1.6.4+-+Render+Player+API+core+1.3.zip
I might add it anyways, but until then try that.
OK, I decided to add it. The new update 3.7 should have it, but if not just tell me :)
Hey, could you add smart moving or improved 1st person view? I think they (Ifp more so) would increase the survival feeling of the modpack.
Well, maybe first person view, but not smart moving. I have a lot of reasons why I wont add smart moving, which I don't really think it's important to explain, but I'll look into first person. My only concerns would be that some players wouldn't like it, or that it would get in the way or make it hard to see. If nothing else, you can always install it yourself, just go to you .minecraft directory, go back a folder and in .technic/modpacks/the-wilderness-echoes and put the correct version in the mods folder.
Just To let everybody know, If you are experiencing any freezing or lag, go into your launcher settings, click on java, and then allocate more RAM. Thanks Everybody!
You have to have 64 bit java to go above 1GB, so that's what's happening if you see that.
Will be great to see any task list book for single player games.
What? Do you mean a list of servers or mods? Or people posting their single player worlds? This is very confusing, sorry. I don't understand.
I can't seem to craft certain items. Such as 2x2 of gravel = flint, but I cannot drag it out of the crafting grid.
That's strange, I'll see if I can reproduce it
Is it anything to do with NEI? Try changing your settings, or reloading Minecraft. What exactly is happening? Does the item appear but not allow you to take it out of the slot?
I can't seem to get the error to work on my version, if all else fails you can save your worlds and reinstall the pack.
can you make a server download?
I don't know how to make a modded server, but if anyone can show me how I can try it out. I've had problems with mod pack servers in the past. Other than that, the LAN feature should work for playing with people on the same internet. You would only need a server if you were connecting to people far away, or if you wanted to make an official public server. Try LAN if you want to do multiplayer, it should works for people connected to the same internet. Unless somebody can show me how to make a modded server, I can't really put a server download, sorry.
EDIT: I am working on a server package night now, I don't know if it will work though. If it works I will try and post it.
OK, the server is up. Open the zip and put the folder inside somewhere. Double-click the Run.bat. You should already know how to run a server, basically. It won't be portforwarded or anything, so people who connect to it will have to be on your network. But otherwise, it should work.
Hey i just bought a new screen capture program, and i did a modpack showcase of the wilderness echoes! I apologize if its laggy/kind of time limited, but i had other business to attend to. Heres the link: https://youtu.be/qqOu3XvNLfQ (I gave you credit, its amazing mod-pack, thanks for letting me do a review on it! :D)
Thanks, I'll put it on the pack description!
