Install The 1.7.10 Pack

Step 1

Installing a modpack using the Technic Launcher is easy. If you don't already have the launcher downloaded, visit our download page to get the latest version.

Step 2

Type in the modpack name (The 1.7.10 Pack) or paste the following url into the search box.

Step 3

Finally, click Install at the bottom right of the launcher after you select The 1.7.10 Pack from the list on the left. The launcher will handle everything else!

The server wont work. Is there a redit page that talks about how to set up probly?

after you launch the server once and it gives you the error then closes, open the eula text that generates in the folder you launched the server from then change "false" to "true" and then restart the server.

Tier 4 missiles from DefenseTech don't seem to be working for me. I am launching them from the T3 platform. All missiles seem to work except from them. Am I doing something wrong, or are they not currently working in this modpack?

Ah, darn! I really wanted to play this modpack, but it says I need 3 GB of RAM and Java version 1.7 (I'm on 1.8) to run it, and I don't have those options when I go to the settings to try and fix it. Any solutions?

The mod pack looks to be more demanding at my end - crashed until I gave it 10 Gb of ram to play with - I found this out after I created a new world and just moving around used approx 9.5 Gb of ram, never mind trying to run the sphax texture pack. this is on a gaming system I built myself which should be more then enough for this - it looks like something in the mod pack is seriously ram hungry.

I've been trying to get into Applied Energistics 2 but I kinda want to skip the waiting for crystal seeds to grow (can't use the Crystal Growth Accelerator because I just started). I thought I would be able to make a world anchor from Railcraft, but for some reason the game won't let me make one even if I have the recipe correct in shapeless crafting. Can anyone tell me if my game is bugged or if the world anchor is just disabled? Also, can someone tell me an alternative block for it?

Also, is anyone having trouble making Enderium? For some reason I can't liquify ender pearls in a Magma Crucible, nor can I use them to make enderium base. I really need to make some tesseracts for a quarry, but I simply can't make enderium.

If possiable the gravity gun mod would make an epic adddition becuase it would fit in with portal gun.

Plus, on Mod Meltdown, there is Matter Overdrive, Archimedes' Ships, and Armorers' Workshop. Where are those mods here you ask? Nowhere. This modpack doesn't really have a very impressive combination of mods.

You guys say you have over 200 mods, but Solder says a bit different (157). If any of you users want a REAL 1.7.10 compilation modpack, check out Mod Meltdown, it has 192 mods. :)
