Can someone help. When in creative pressing the arrow to page three always crashes my game. and NEI is no help the item I need wont show on it.

My friend set up a server for the modpack and i have been playing on it fine but recently whenever i try to join i spwn in and cant see any blocks then it says timed out and the server crashes. please help. ive put 50 hours into his server.

Hello, I'm enjoying this modpack with some friends on a private server, everything works great except for one thing. I'm working on making a moving quarry with the Funky Locomotion mod, but it keeps crashing the server. I've looked up the issue and more people seem to be having this problem. The crash occurs whenever the moving frame is loaded by a chunk loader and not a player. Is there any way to fix this issue or replace the mod with a similar thing, like the frame mover from ProjectRed?

Hi, I'm having problems with chat. Players just get kicked and I get this error in the server console when players try to chat.
Playername lost connection: Internal Exception: java.lang.ArrayIndexOutOfBoundsException: -1

Hey, so I downloaded the modpack and ran it but it keeps lagging and running on low fps. I tried every thing and it still lags. How beefy of a computer do you need to run this modpack??

You can try to set FPS limit to unlimited, turn off VSync or even add Optifine manually (version D6).
You can also try turning off particles and setting graphics to Fast. Make sure you've allocated enough RAM as well.
Hey, my game crashes when I go past inventory page 2 in creative mode. While it's not a huge, game breaking problem, it is very annoying, seeing as I have to scroll through NEI to find items.

NEI has a search function, in which you can also search for mod names.
Yeah, I know, but going to a mod's page is much easier than going to NEI and trying to find the section for whatever mod to see what's in there. Again, I know that it doesn't really matter, but I feel like I should put it out there.

Hey, I've a friend that has the exact some computer has me,but He can perfectly enter in a minecraft server but I can't. His screen is always black and when He is able to enter a server he is lagging ... We really need help because I've already dedicated 3.5 Ram in his technic launcher :c
And one more thing don´t look to my photo please It was taken 3 years ago I think :P

That sounds like a problem with your internet. Can he enter normal, Vanilla servers? If so, has he made any changes with the mods or configs?

Whats the deal with the server for this pack? tried 2 platforms both windows and linux and it just fails to load, anyone got any tutorials?

Did you set eula.txt to true?
I personally love this pack, but after updating the pack, the game crashed after trying to access the second page of the inventory. Is anyone else having this issue or just me?

Use NEI instead, creative inventory tabs are incredibly buggy. We could look into it, but we can't promise a fix.
Okay so I have a GTX 1080 ti, a core i7 7700k 4.2 ghz, 12 whole ggb of dedicated DDR4 RAM (I have 16 total, i just allocated 12) and my pc can still only run this game at like 10 fps, what am I doing wrong? I have chunk distance at like 5, and no texture packs loaded

Set FPS limit to unlimited, and turn off VSync. You can also add Optifine if you want, and tweak your settings even more, but be sure to not use any version newer than D6.
why did you buy the 7700k and leave it stock?
Are the content packs from Flan's mod in this modpack? I would love to have a weapon to surpass metal gear from the Titan Pack.

Loving the mix of magic and tech in this pack! However, I play on a server with my kids and mods Blood Magic, Forbidden Magic and Necromancy are a little intense for them. Is there an easy way to remove them or prevent building the items for those mods? I tried renaming the .jar files on both the server and client. The server would run normally but the client crashes on connect with a "Ticking screen" error. Is there something else in the config files I need to change or is there a deeper issue. Thanks!

I figured out why the client was crashing. The Hardcore Questing mod had references to the Blood Magic mod. Once I disabled the HQM mod by renaming it, I was able to connect as expected. I tried removing the Blood Magic quests from the quests file using these instructions: https://ftb.gamepedia.com/Hardcore_Questing_Mode:_An_In-Depth_Guide However, I started getting the client crash again. I didn't see any other references to the other removed mods. Is there something else I have to do with the Hardcore Quest update to make that work?
Hello! First of all I'd be able to help you much more easily in through "Help" section. But in general, you can either post there your latest crash log and I'll try to help you, or editing the quests out yourself (I could explain you how after you've opened a ticket), or give up on the quests unless you do want them. :)
