READ THIS: for those that are getting crazy to make the Tekkit classic server run on modern hardware you need to make sure to edit your LAUNCH.BAT file you should replace the text inside with this: "C:\Program Files\Java\jre-1.8\bin\java.exe" -Xmx3G -Xms2G -jar Tekkit.jar nogui pause make sure it's pointing to the right java directory in my case it was like that, but if you don't have multiple java versions installed like i do you'll need to edit the file path with yours, this will fix the server crashing on startup

Hey all! I wanna ask you a question (because I don't remember one thing): for which MC version there were Tekkit? I mean old Tekkit (I don't remember 'Tekkit Classic' as a modpack. I guess there were Tekkit, which was renamed one day)

Hey there! I've been making a tekkit classic server for a couple days and am having trouble with one thing? The server runs Tekkit Restrict and everytime I launvh the server, it tells me that EE Patch isn't installed. Thing is, I plan on making some things from EE restricted and I tested it by restricting some effects for the ring of arcana and swift wolfs rending gale and it doesn't disable the effects because I guess I need whatever this "EE Patch" thing is. And yes, I have attempted to search EE Patch and it doesn't show anything about it. If anyone knows what I can do, I'd really appreciate it.

Okay, anyone having problems downloading server files, right-click on Server Download and open in incognito. Hope it helps, worked for me.

The Lumy Skin Patch, which was added to other legacy Technic packs, has been released for 1.2.5 in the time since those packs received it. Would it be possible for it to be added to Tekkit Classic as well?

What Java version should I install to play? The current Java I have installed for 64 bit (13.0.2) is stated to have issues with Minecraft, and runs into an error before getting to the main menu if I use it. I otherwise have to use 32-bit Java w/ 1GB of RAM, which I would prefer not to do.
