Install Tech Kit Reloaded

Step 1

Installing a modpack using the Technic Launcher is easy. If you don't already have the launcher downloaded, visit our download page to get the latest version.

Step 2

Type in the modpack name (Tech Kit Reloaded) or paste the following url into the search box.

Step 3

Finally, click Install at the bottom right of the launcher after you select Tech Kit Reloaded from the list on the left. The launcher will handle everything else!

Please message me on here, but note that I'm simply the modpack creator, not the creator of the mods. Therefore I am unable to give you any technical support for any of the mods themselves.

However, here are some general troubleshooting tips:

  1. The modpack will require more than the default setting of 1GB of RAM (else it may not load up). To change this, open the Technic launcher and click on the "Launcher Options" button. Click the "Java Settings" tab and select how much RAM you want to allocate under "Memory". Obviously, don't allocate more memory than your system physically has available! Check how much you currently have available in Windows Task Manager. As a general guide, I have 16GB or RAM in my system, so I allocate 4GB to the launcher. However, I don't think you'll need more than 2GB for this modpack to run smoothly.
  2. Make sure you have the latest version of Java installed (at least version 8) - download is here. Download and install both x32 and x64 bit versions (The chances of you having a x64 bit operating system are almost certain if you have a reasonably modern computer. Google how to find out if you're not sure).
  3. Make sure your computer's date is not set to the 1st April!
