Making this pack to stay like it is forever and since Java doesn't wait for a minecraft modpack
this pack no longer works
[EDIT] Also Technic has been down if you haven't seen yet...
Upon loading the pack it begins to load and then quickly closes, could you explain why and what i can do to fix.
I can only assume i need an older java version, i have an extremely best PC with 32GB ECC Ram so there is no ram issue.

Rapid even though you have 32 Gig of RAM its not always good.
Its like overdosing it doesn't exactly help your minecraft.
At most you should keep it at around 8 at least 2.
As for the pack what I usually do is keep launching it till it works but it may just be that this pack is broken from how long its hasn't been updated.
I have the same problem it was my favorite modpack, i really miss it
It say i need 4 GB and i have 2,5 GB AND that i can change to 4 GB but i cant even change to 2 GB. Please help.
Could you confirm you are in the Java settings of the launcher options?
I found Java 64 in a weird Place... But it works!

why isnt it working to start
i cant get it to work. I heard tat you have to change it to java 1.7, but i couldnt figure out how.

Change the mod version from 0.6.4.6 to 0.6.4.5f. It lasts a lot longer. I only have 3 GB and I play for a while. As long as you don't glitch, or go Fullscreen (F11), it plays good.
In the Modpack Options Menu, cick on Java, then go to 1.7_67 64Bit or 32Bit

i cant log in Hack Slash Mine last week, - hsm.neonshift.com- he say : cant reach server. what can i do, i play the server 2 1/2 year under 0.6.4.4 with java 7, i try it under 0.6,4.6 but dont go

I tried to download Java 7 and it said it downloaded but Hack Slash Mine still doesn't work!!!! Please change it to Java 8!!!!

Every time I click play the minecraft window shows up for only a second then shuts... What should I do??

It's because Hack Slash Mine doesn't run on Java 1.8. You'd have to download Java 1.7 and select it under Java Settings in the Launcher Options.
