I am playing singleplayer of the new version and it keeps crashing. I have the newest version of java. Any suggestions? Love the game but cant play as 1 min in it crashes....

If you could send me the crash report that would be great otherwise I can´t fix the problm :/
Oh and I tried going to the server when I saw that the server was open but it was only for 1.3, is this normal or is the server going nuts just asking.
So I heard the sever will be up in friday, are you sure that there will be no lag spikes or bugs or crashes or anything, just making sure cause I've been waiting decaydes for this sever to be up.
MJRA Hasn't said the server will be released on Friday. I'm sure lag spikes, bugs or crashes will have to do with the modpack not the server and he has already updated it to fix bugs so everything should be fine unless you have a computer which hates minecraft.

Soon..Soon as soon as we finnish our server then slowly you can have your own private server, sorry for waiting..
Is the server up? When I try to get on it has an x on it and says 1.8

If the server was up there would be an announcement.
That's what I thought, i was confused
ok so i deleated the old gme for the update , it installed just fine but will not play just goes back to play. im not using java 8

Try to add more ram that should fix it.
Java 8 is not a problem for this modpack because we are using lexmano´s fix
So I thought it would be a good idea to add the morph mod to the mod pack because I wanted everything to be easier and to fly because I think that the Survival Wings mod just wastes out really fast. So I killed a bat and I turned into it but the problem is that it doesn't let me fly. I've tried everything going into the config files, redownloading the mod, etc. Can anyone please help me! I really want this to work Thanks

Check your configs of the mod again, it usually is set that you can fly ONLY after you went to the nether.(If I'm not mistaken) If you need a guide on how to do that, I'm willing to help. :D Also, I personally don't recommend adding mods, because you'll be unable to join the server once it's out. Finally, just my opinion, but morph mod seems overrated, it's plain over powered, and I wouldn't like it to be added.
Is it the version of the mod which allows you to use the mobs powers once consumed?
Yea, I've checked the config files at least 3 times and I turned the world into creative and made the nether just to make sure it would work and it still didn't work for me.
I also heard that in some cases, the wither has to be defeated. If that doesn't work, I'm clueless :/
[1.5.7] CHANGELOG - Biomes O´Plenty was finally updated to the most recent version - World generation improved, fixed several bugs that were causing worlds to crash - removed some of the annoying messages when the game starts.

I'm still facing the same problem I can't download the modpack.
Could you try it again, it is working for me :/
UPDATE- [IT BREAKS ALL YOUR PREVIOUS WORLDS] - Not forcing anyone to update to the new version, is not even going to ask you to if you wish to use the new version just reinstall the modpack.

Yes this update will improve the world generation, it will fix bugs that were related to that.Unfortunately all the worlds will break with this update.
Players skins [problem]- People having this problem should change the skin to a 1.7/1.6 skin.You can follow this tutorial to convert your 1.8 skin to 1.7/1.6 - http://www.planetminecraft.com/blog/kires-tutorials-how-to-convert-a-18-compatible-skin-to-1716-compatible/

Is there a fix for the bug that stops Entities [Chests, Mobs, player skin etc.] From appearing. I really like the Enchanted Oasis mod but it's hard to play with the glitch. I can take screencaps if you need them.
Yeah it's called using a different texture pack lol.
The only thing that ticks me off is my skin being a jumbled mess D: Will you apply the LexManos's Legacy Java Fixer thing? I don't know what it is or what it does, but it seemed to fix the problem on the old server.
It's mostly because your skin is probably a 1.8+ skin.
No matter what I change my skin to, it still is messed up. I'm assuming it's something about Java, but I doubt I'll be able to do anything about it :/
We have the LexMano´s Legacy Java Fixer although that has nothing to do with skins it only allows people with Java 8 to play the modpack.
I can't seem to download the modpack. I've tried so many times but it keeps on saying "failed to download http://d.pr/15pwF/download+ please consult the modpack author". please do fix it because I really love the modpack. I accidentally deleted the entire technic including the modpack a few days ago, now that I've reinstalled technic I can't download the enchanted oasis modpack. thank you in advance!

I'm having the same problem
Make sure your Java is up to date and is running at least 2 GB of RAM (I found 4 the most ideal) and if you are on Mac, do not upgrade to Yosemite if you are looking to play many technic mods.
I don't think it's bcs of the os. it wasn't like this before. when I used to have this modpack my os was yosemite and it's running 4GB of RAM. I think it's bcs the modpack got removed from its download site.
