Version 1.4

This is a proper replacement for the failed 1.3.

I've set up a release testing ground to make sure I don't push broken updates in the future. For the curious, I got thrown off by semantic differences in copying folders over existing folders in Windows vs OS X and wound up merging the new version with the previous which breaks everything. I go back and forth between Windows and Mac daily and I guess I get turned around. Sorry everybody!
