v2.1.0
Carpenter's Blocks by Mineshopper
This mod adds slopes and a custom variety of vanilla-inspired blocks to the game! They may look like ordinary frames or wooden blocks in their base form, but they can actually be covered with nearly any block in the game. v0.9.0.9
CodeChickenCore by chicken_bones
v2.0.0.5
CoFH Core by KingLemmingCoFH
Thermal Expansion, at its core, is a 'tech' mod - it's a mod of what ifs. For example, what if you could turn water into ice or snow with a machine? Or how about a machine that could combine lava and water however you choose? What if there were a wool that didn't burn? Or, what if you could set up advanced yet extremely compact production chains that didn't require redstone engines or complex pipe routing? If any of that interests you, then you may want to check this out.
v0.2.3
Darwin by Manchou
The Darwin mod only adds a mob. But the particularity of this mob is that it has chromosomes with genes.Their genetics define their color, skin, shape, behaviour...There are billions of possibilities.
r35.fix

Enhanced Core by Alz454
A utility/core mod for Enhanced Portals 2.
v1.0.9
Enhanced Portals 2 by Alz454
Ever wanted to build a Stargate? Don't like the fact that portals can only be one shape? Find it annoying that your 3 block wide paths don't line up correctly with your Nether portal? Do you want your portals to go somewhere other than the Nether?Enhanced Portals allows you to create any size or shape Nether portal that you want. Unlike other mods, this mod has no limit on the size of the portal you want to create - as long as it's a valid portal (a frame of obsidian with nothing else in the way) - you're good to go.What if you don't like the boring purple colour portal? Simply take any one of the 16 dyes and use it on the portal, the dye will get used up and the portal will become that colour. You can even use these portals as decoration.

A way to automatically farm plants and animals, as well some new rail tracks! With this mod you can set up a completely automated farm for any of these things that requires no real work aside from collecting the harvests and reloading the planter, without incredibly complex and unwieldy water/piston solutions. And you can milk cows to death or otherwise run livestock farms if you need those resources. Oh and it has conveyor belts too.
v2.0.13.1063
Micdoodle Core by Micdoodle8
Core utilities for all Micdoodle8 mods.
v1.7.9b.rename
Minecraft Minions by AtomicStryker
By now, many great extensions of the Minecraft gameplay exist (such as Industrialcraft, Buildcraft....) but they have one common weakness. They usually require you to amass X resources before you can make use of the advanced stuff. The process of mining down and then stripmining for raw materials has become very repetitive and boring after a while, so i decided Minions to do it for you were needed!!!

This mod is all about necromancy. Also known as the art of reanimation. using this mod, you can reanimate slain foes and use your minions to rule the world! (of minecraftia).
v1.6.1.9
Not Enough Items by chicken_bones
NEI is a successor to both Too Many Items and Recipe Book. It arose around the same time as Craft Guide when Alexandria and a few others on the IRC suggested that I merge both Too Many Items and Recipe Book to remove their greatest flaws, ironically too many items, or in the case of recipe book, too many recipies. Too Many Items was great, but the one thing it lacked was an easy way to search and sort your items. When you had a mod like Red Power coming along with 10000 items both TMI and Recipe Book were racking up the pages. Even if you don't want to use NEI for cheating in items, you will likely feel right at home with the Recipe component of the mod.
v1.1.0.6
Not Enough Items: Plugins by Mystaqur
Additional NEI support for Buildcraft, Forestry, Tinker's Construct, Minefactory Reloaded, and others.
v0.1
Not Enough Codecs by OpenMods

v3.0.0.7
Thermal Expansion by KingLemmingCoFH
Thermal Expansion, at its core, is a 'tech' mod - it's a mod of what ifs. For example, what if you could turn water into ice or snow with a machine? Or how about a machine that could combine lava and water however you choose? What if there were a wool that didn't burn? Or, what if you could set up advanced yet extremely compact production chains that didn't require redstone engines or complex pipe routing? v1.5.2a
Waila by ProfMobius
I have the pleasure to introduce to you Waila (What Am I Looking At). Waila is an extension for NEI. It will show in the tooltip what mod an item is from. Since the tooltip contains the mod name, you can also easly parse items per mods. But that's not all ! Leveraging an extended NEI HUD, it is also capable of showing the name of blocks and mods ingame, right on top of your screen. And if this is not enough, it comes with a few integrated modules to show internal information of some specific blocks. For now, BC tanks have been implemented (shows the content, capacity and amount of fluid) and IC2 machines (shows the In/out voltage).
v1.0.2.fix
Waypoints by AUTOMATIC_MAIDEN
This mod brings waypoint system from Diablo series to Minecraft.
v0.19.2
Witchery by Emoniph
Witchery provides several branches of witchcraft for a new witch or warlock to try their hand at. Witchcraft does not really resemble the flashy spell-casting performed by wizards and their ilk. There are no magic wands or spell books, enchanted armor or flaming swords; instead, a well tended witch's garden will provide a lot of helpful ingredients for magic that will get you out of the occasional scrape.
v1.1
World of Dinos by Cannibal Vox
Make Fossils & Arch dinosaurs spawn in whatever biomes you want!
