I was one of those people who actually liked the concept of IC2 crops, however I did not like the way it was implemented (completely Random).
I am also one of those people who completely removed IC2 from his modpack in favor of Mekanism.
I am also one of those people who likes HarvestCraft.
So then this idea appeared; imagine IC2 crops, with a breedling line like Forestry bees/trees but with the HarvestCraft crops. Unfortunatly I had not a single clue how to mod Minecraft, after running around with this idea for some time, I decided to learn how to mod Minecraft using Forge, and Agricraft is the result of that.

connections between cables can be easily split (compact wiring possible)
have defined input and output connection (no accidentally powering unwanted blocks)
can be covered with solid blocks (for hiding in walls)
Levers, Buttons, Redstone Torches, etc. can be directly attached
no signal power loss or distance limit + support for signals > 15

This mod does a couple things relating to the vanilla furnace, blast furnace, and smoker so that they run faster during their update method, improving TPS.
Similar to FastWorkbench, it caches the last recipe used, and checks this recipe first before re-scanning the entire registry. This is significantly faster due to the vanilla furnace scanning the entire furnace registry each tick, which may be fine for vanilla, but in a modded environment, gets very large very quickly.
Additionally, the mod fixes a bug in serialization of the furnace, which would cause burn times above 32767 to be ignored during saving (as the burn time was cast to a short even through an int was written).

Some modded commands incorrectly implement a certain piece of code. This piece of code is used for sorting the list of commands alphabetically in the /help command. This incorrect code actually causes the /help command to break with an error that is vague and confusing.
HelpFixer changes the /help command to go around the offending code and sort the commands by a method that will work. HelpFixer also logs offending commands to the server log, allowing you to figure out who was causing the problem.

This is a small mod that adds exactly one item: a Test Dummy.
The dummy can be placed in the world, where it'll stand silently, judging your every action. It'll wiggle funny if you hit it, screaming large numbers of damage at you. It can be dressed up to look even more awesome. This will please the dummy, making the numbers smaller.
TL;DR: Testdummies show damage dealt to them and can be equipped with armor
Usage:
Right click on a block with a test dummy to place it
Clicking on the top of a block will rotate it towards you
Clicking on the side of a block will orient the dummy 90° to that block
Right click it with an armor piece to equip it
Sneak+Right Click with an empty hand to unequip armor. From Top to bottom.
Sneak+Left Click with an empty hand to dismantle the test dummy
The mod was intended to be for testing purposes only at first. But it turned out awesome so it got polished up a bit. It has got some small quirks here and there, but overall it should work without problems.
Feel free to do whatever you want to do with the mod. I put the source up on github. You can use it in any modpack or whatever you want to do with it. Just don't expect support.

Add a little more personality to the vanilla mobs in Minecraft with the NemesisSystem Mod! NemesisSystem is inspired from Shadow of Mordor’s nemesis system, and adapted for Minecraft. Every time a player is killed by a nemesis class mob (zombies and skeletons by default) a new Nemesis is created.
Adds the nether chest, a counterpart to the ender chest, having a special ability based on the nether dimension.
Ever played on a multiplayer server, built near other players and when returning from the Nether, surprisingly found yourself in another player's base? It's because of the 8:1 block ratio between the Nether and the Overworld. It's really weird though that you enter a portal in the overworld, and then when going back through where you came. come out of a different portal in the overworld. This mod fixes that issue.

Phosphor is a Minecraft mod which works to optimize one of game's most inefficient areas-- the lighting engine. It works on both the client and server, and can be installed on servers without requiring clients to also have the mod. With Phosphor, the amount of time the game takes to generate chunks can be halved for some dimensions, and frame stuttering experienced while traversing the world can be significantly reduced. It's a no-compromises solution for improving performance either in single-player or large multi-player servers, and changes no features or behaviors of the vanilla game.

This mod is meant to be used together with my other mods Custom Main Menu and Custom Backgrounds but it can be used with any other mod that can take resource locations for config options.
It allows users to add their own resources to minecraft. While this would be possible using resource packs these resource packs would be visible in the resource pack window (Which the resources added by this mod aren't) and you can also just add resources to a simple folder which is easier then repackaging the resource pack every time.

Thermal Logistics is the spiritual successor to Logistics Pipes! This mod adds smart crafting to Thermal Dynamics using just two new servos: the requester and the crafter. Requesters are smart the smart version of the retriever from Thermal Dynamics. If they need an item not available in the network, they can request a crafter to make it for them. Crafters are attached to machines that can make an item using inputs. In the crafter, you specify what items go in and what items go out. Crafters can be linked together if a machine outputs on a different side than where it takes its input.

Tinkers' Construct is a mod about putting tools together in a wide variety of ways, then modifying them until they turn into something else. The tools never disappear and can be named and changed to your heart's desire. Once you make them, they're yours forever. Any world generation included in the mod is more efficient, but not required to progress.
Gives your Tools XP, allowing them to level up. On levelup an extra modifier is rewarded. You get xp for doing whatever the tool was intended for, so breaking blocks with pickaxes, killing things with swords, etc.
Controls what toasts show up in Minecraft.
