We appreciate your patience with the outages. If you have a modpack you curate be sure to edit your modpack on the resources tab to re-apply your art in the new sizes. Your modpack will be artless until you do this.

Welcome to the new Technic Platform.

This new site, together with the new Launcher, are more than just a design refresh, it’s a leap forward toward bringing content curators and users together.

Now users have the ability to comment, like, follow and post about modpacks. As a modpack owner, you now have the ability to post status updates and news posts to users who are following you.

The Launcher now integrates with the Platform heavily, allowing searching for modpacks within itself, seeing news posts from modpack curators, and lists likes, runs, and installs. Portable mod is back, and we have an actual Mac client for those among us that run Apple. The Launcher also has language support for German, Portuguese (Portugal and Brazil) Chinese (China and Taiwan), Italian, French and English.

We have a vast upgrade to usability, features, information, and tools. From customizability to interactions with your users to elasticsearch, we hope you enjoy the work we’ve put in to make the Technic Platform look, feel, and most importantly perform well.

Before I knew about the update I tried using the old launcher & it was stuck in a constant re-start to complete the update loop and was completely unusable

im going to sum up everything everyone has said ok? this "improvement" (quotation marks) has made the whole tekkit experiance the worst! this update is the worst thing that had ever happerned in tekkit history! firstly i cant load the modpacks seccond the packs i can load are really laggy thirdly i dont know how to even load up the packs that you made! please please please! revert it to the launcher we all cherished only yesterday! i am sure you spent a load of time on this update but with these recent develop ments i would rather play something else compared to a game that i cant even play thank you for listening -snowy792

Um, all of the "problems" you are stating here are your fault, such as having a laggy computer and not knowing how to add modpacks.

i don't get it... how can i install modpacks... i searched tekkit, found it, click install and nothing happend...

I think the old website and launcher was better. You've just unimproved it. Also all my the default modpacks have disappeared so i can't do anything. I think you should've stuck with the old one

Its been a nightmare trying to get the new launcher working with my modpacks. I still have one or two need to find the proper name of so I can put it in the search box on the new launcher & the click install on the launcher window it brings up to add it to the launcher. The launcher doesn't recognise the files are there until you click that install button.

The new update is ver horrible. Before the Update I played tekkie Lite with my friends and the new launcher can't find it when I search it

new launcher is not even working, can not configure how it uses modpacks, and tons of errors in code, you screwed up, you should have stuck with the old launcher as it ACTUALLY WORKED, this one DOES NOT
