We appreciate your patience with the outages. If you have a modpack you curate be sure to edit your modpack on the resources tab to re-apply your art in the new sizes. Your modpack will be artless until you do this.

Welcome to the new Technic Platform.

This new site, together with the new Launcher, are more than just a design refresh, it’s a leap forward toward bringing content curators and users together.

Now users have the ability to comment, like, follow and post about modpacks. As a modpack owner, you now have the ability to post status updates and news posts to users who are following you.

The Launcher now integrates with the Platform heavily, allowing searching for modpacks within itself, seeing news posts from modpack curators, and lists likes, runs, and installs. Portable mod is back, and we have an actual Mac client for those among us that run Apple. The Launcher also has language support for German, Portuguese (Portugal and Brazil) Chinese (China and Taiwan), Italian, French and English.

We have a vast upgrade to usability, features, information, and tools. From customizability to interactions with your users to elasticsearch, we hope you enjoy the work we’ve put in to make the Technic Platform look, feel, and most importantly perform well.

i cant add mod packs, or play, it gave me the blue screen of death yesterday! Merry Christmas! Have an annoying computer that is lagging. thanks for the crappy update!

I cannot install ANY MODPACK! it says that each modpack is version 1.0. This new update is extremely horrible, i hate the new launcher and want the old one back.

where kan i add my own modpacks i made in the new launcher that is no running very good at the moment and a 502 error at the website is commen atm , i like the new looks of the site and launcher but its a bit broken atm (fix would be nice soon with psn and xboxlive offline)

What is this crap, WHERE on the damn "launcher" can you actually launch any freakin modpack. I mostly play vanilla, and I can't find it anywhere. This is pure crap. And where is the introduction to the new platform and launcher?!?!? A video or detailed instructions on how to use this is NEEDED but not provided. This was extremely poorly done. Now I have to download the original vanilla minecraft launcher and I won't be playing ANY other modpacks with this piece of crap launcher. Extremely unsatisfied.

(hoping the 255 character limit doesn't apply here) Okay, I have to admit that I like the new design. It's not quite as user friendly as intended and I missed a couple things at first, especially how searching modpacks within the launcher works. But after a bit of reading up and looking around, I see what you were trying to do with this new design and I think that the concepts are very cool. However, they aren't quite implemented properly. There are a ton of bugs and issues on both the website, and it's making a very poor first impression with all the current users of the platform. While some of the comments, in my opinion, are a bit harsh, they are correct in that some of the issues that have been appearing in the new launcher should have been addressed before the it was released, as they can prove crippling and render some modpacks unplayable. Though, as we are all capable of making mistakes under a pressure as great as releasing a launcher overhaul by christmas day, I'm not going to let this mishap bother me too much. Besides, I have a feeling that the bugs won't cause any permanent damage to the game files and that the solutions are being tested as I type. I'm also anxious to see how all of the new features will work after everything has been properly implemented.

" I have a feeling that the bugs won't cause any permanent damage to the game files", *Ahem* every twenty-six days all the modpacks vanish from the launcher, though the files are still in the computer, as well as this, all my saves are removed as well as I am required to re-install every modpack again, which takes ages!

So many people are unsatisfied with the update, but I for one think it was for the best. Its a change that had to be made, and though it might not be perfect right now, it will be improved. So just be patient and hang on!

OMG I can't find Tekkit Lite anymore and before when I tried to download it and it says that there was an URL Error, Please informate the Master of this Pack. Please help me!

I have friends that have downloaded the Technic Launcher, but when they try to register, it keeps telling them they need to verify their accounts by clicking the link in the email. They have clicked the link 10+ times and it still says they need to verify.
