Install Tekkit

Step 1

Installing a modpack using the Technic Launcher is easy. If you don't already have the launcher downloaded, visit our download page to get the latest version.

Step 2

Type in the modpack name (Tekkit) or paste the following url into the search box.

Step 3

Finally, click Install at the bottom right of the launcher after you select Tekkit from the list on the left. The launcher will handle everything else!

A mod was added (Lumy Skin Patch), which brings back your super nice Minecraft skins (and if you play with other people, theirs as well!).

Indeed. Launcher issues are not allowing me access to the game after this was downloaded. Very frustrating.

as much as I want this to work, it's not working and was working once, if something aint broke, don't fix it...

lumy's skin patch Worked better by just dragging it into the mods folder on the old version. can't even play now

-= Fix =- | Tekkit -> Modpack Options -> Select Version/Specific Version -> 1.2.9h -> Reinstall Pack -> [ Exit Window ] -> Update / Play Game ( Before the change ) | It worked for me as I see no loss of progress in game and no startup crashing, Hope this works :)

I see the mod in the mod list but it says its disabled, how to do i enable it?

Could you add tinker's construct please as having hammers and other tools is really enjoyable. The Hammers make a 3x3 whole instead of a pickaxe doing 1x1 hich speesd u boring parts like mining.

Latest Update
Lumy Skin Patch has been updated to 1.0.13 so skins should be working again. Existing modpack builds were updated to the fixed version.
