Install Waywardcraft v1.7.10.2

Step 1

Installing a modpack using the Technic Launcher is easy. If you don't already have the launcher downloaded, visit our download page to get the latest version.

Step 2

Type in the modpack name (Waywardcraft v1.7.10.2) or paste the following url into the search box.

Step 3

Finally, click Install at the bottom right of the launcher after you select Waywardcraft v1.7.10.2 from the list on the left. The launcher will handle everything else!

We're finally launching! YAY!

update makes a few last-minute config and progression fixes, and also adds the new Fallegur Carbine advanced infantry rifle.

Effective Monday (3/6) our server will be open to friends and family, and on Friday (3/10) we'll be open to the world! Hooray!

You can still expect regular modpack updates and content additions in the future, but this is our sort of "finishing touches" update. The server will be live soon... we can't wait to get you all in there playing with us!

- ADDED the new WC Money mod! This is a new mod made by OscarMike06 that gives our server its own custom currency. We are now phasing out old currency and need everyone to stop by their nearest bank and exchange old currency for the new currency.

- Added new Landship tank! This early trench warfare tank, inspired by the British Mark IV tank of WWI, is a bulletproof battleship on tank treads.

- Added new Ageria speed plane! This is a new aircraft made by TheOrion. It's officially the fastest plane in the world, but carries no cargo and only seats one pilot.

- Fixed several bugs and other issues involving vehicles, planes, and firearms

- Updated in-game icons for all firearms

- Added Herobrine back into the game

- Bullets from guns will no longer break glass. It's unrealistic, but you try building cities with huge glass skyscrapers and see how long YOU want to allow bullets to break glass :P

- Updated progression system to fix several furnace bugs and to add the new guns and vehicles in.

NOTE: Pack 1.7.10 will be our final pre-launch pack update, which we should expect very soon. After that, future packs will use a new numbering system (1.7.10.x) and we'll stay in the 1.7.10 "era" until it's time to update to 1.10.2, whenever the heck that is.

- Added a VERY early draft of the new Waywardcraft Era I Warfare pack. As of right now, it only includes two weapons: the Colton .45 (based on the 1911 pistol) and the MAR 308 (based on the WWII BAR rifle). Expect us to be regularly and frequently updating this pack with new weapons, trucks, planes, tanks, and more!

We're planning to have another update tomorrow that will fix a few small bugs with these two weapons. Until then, they're added for testing purposes only and will not be made available to players in survival mode.

This is a minor update that fixes a few issues with the progression system, and also adds in a few items that were missed previously. It also adds the military weaponry into the tiers, requiring players to complete the military quests in order to use military-grade weaponry.

- Updated the Simple Meds mod to the WC Meds Mod. This mod, created by our very own OscarMike06, adds loads of medicinal/ pharmaceutical drugs to the game, each of which can clear one or more status effects and/ or provide varying amounts of healing. In a near-future update, we'll be adding these things into the progression tiers, too. Until then, please only use these meds for testing purposes.

- ADDED Road Stuff mod, so our streets can finally have signage going on
- ADDED the new Simple Meds mod, made by Oscar. We now have loads of pharmaceutical drugs in Minecraft, curing injuries, status effects, and more! Yay!
- REPLACED Simple Drugs mod with, well, Simple Drugs mod. Nothing has really changed here, except that Oscar took it over. Expected changes to come in pre-launch releases!
- ADDED a new bag mod (replacing Bagginses, which wasn't working for us)
- ADDED dozens of planes and military vehicles, tanks, artillery, etc. These are temporary/ placeholder items until our own custom content pack is finished, but until then, bon appetit!
- UPDATED our progression system to include new items

Other bugfixes were all related to stuff only admins care about, most notably fixing issues with Custom NPCs that prohibited us from porting people around within quest chains.

Major update time! Yay!

- ADDED Animals Plus, which will fill the world with lots of new animals. Don't worry, we're disabling crickets
- ADDED Bagginses, giving us bags to carry around with us for sub-inventories
- ADDED OpenFM mod, allowing you to listen to internet radio in-game. Station must be MP3-based with a PLS extension (use the .pls url inside the radio to make it work)
- ADDED StorageDrawers mod, which adds more storage options into the game
- ADDED Wolf Armor mod, allowing your dogs to wear various types of armor and also carry stuff
- Added new skins for NPCs so we can complete the Temple of Boom dungeon
- Added over 20 new songs to Custom NPCs, for use in dungeons and questing areas. Special thanks to our good friend Liam Bradbury for writing and producing these excellent tunes!
- Added all new mod items to progression system
- Fixed furnace/ Lil Derpy bug in progression system
- Several small tweaks to vehicle performance and fuel consumption
- Fixed some performance issues with world anchors
- Fixed minor ID conflict between two mods that caused items to not work properly
- Tuned up performance across the board
- Added Herobrine back into the game
- Creepers should now drop money like other mobs do
- Fixed drops for all other mobs

Server-Side:
- Miners should now be ignored while sleeping
- Crickets disabled worldwide; they won't ruin crops anymore

Flan's Mod:
- Tried yet again to fix Lil Derpy's in-game name issue
- Adjusted fuel ratios. All vehicles now have more realistic fuel capacities (for the server scale) and should require refueling more often, but only slightly. This will be most noticeable on the bigger planes, like the Emperors, the Cardinals, and the Poseidon.

Archimedes:
- Decreased submarine fill requirements to hopefully make them work
- Lowered the weight of floaters so ships can hopefully float better
- Slight adjustment to ship movement speed in the hopes of stopping players from falling through the world at top speed

Other:
- Added Chisel compatibility into Dynmap
- Fixed a few odd bugs here and there

- Fixed a few critical and less-important bugs in the progression system
- Fixed the 'Lil Derpy bug; the name should now appear correctly
- Tuned race cars. All race cars now share the same speed, handling, and fuel characteristics, OTHER than the Dojin-Munchen Jitterbug, which is slightly slower, turns slightly worse, and has slightly less fuel capacity than the others (because tradition!)

Stuff we haven't fixed yet:

- 'Lil Derpy is still slow as heck (roughly the speed of walking). This will be fixed in the next update, along with fuel capacities on aircraft, which are currently bonkers.

More vehicle/ plane fixes. This should be the last vehicular update for a while (we hope, unless there are more bugs)

- Airplane speeds have been greatly reduced and returned to normal (pre-1.6.1) speeds, or extremely close to those speeds

- Handling and performance in most aircraft changed, some drastically. All aircraft should handle more realistically now

- Fixed the skin of OM LLC's cargo truck

- Fixed vehicle sounds for all trucks. Racecars are still a bit finicky but should be more audible than before. We're now officially limited only by Flan's Mod itself for audio issues

Major upgrades to our alpha Waywardcraft Content Pack for Flan's Mod!

- NEW PLANE ADDED: The Coleman Bluetail is the Yellowtail's big brother. Seating four and carrying more cargo, this is a very handy bush plane capable of landing where most other planes simply can't

- Recipes massively overhauled. We're no longer using Flan's Simple Parts pack as our own parts pack now covers everything we need

- Dozens of bug fixes for vehicles. We didn't fix everything, but the major stuff (you know, airplanes randomly exploding for no reason) should hopefully be fixed. We'll have another update later in the week that will address some of the other bugs as well

KNOWN BUGS (stuff we know about but haven't gotten around to fixing just yet):

- Vehicle sounds for trucks and race cars are messed up
- Interiors on race cars turn with the steering wheel
- Henderly P3 Adventurer doesn't sit on the runway properly (semi-fixed but still annoying to look at)
- P5 Emperors handle like modern jet fighters. Their handling has been reduced greatly but, you know, testing and stuff

Expect an update to 1.6.3 in the very near future where we'll tackle as many of those problems as possible.

Oh, and we made tornados more rare.

Changes in 1.6:

- Progression system has been overhauled. This includes the addition of many new tiers, several bug fixes, and a lot more. Check your progression book for details!
- Airplanes should no longer explode unexpectedly. Probably a good thing, right?
- ComputerCraft removed and replaced with Open Computers
- Healers should no longer propose marriage to party members while using med packs. That was taking the whole "love the people you play with" thing a little too seriously
- Med packs will be considerably expensive to craft now
- Speed of ships increased; they should be a lot faster now (though still slower than airplanes)
- Water spouts should be more rare (tornado rareness unaffected)
- Herobrine added
- 33 miscellaneous other bug fixes!

- Spice of Life mod: You can no longer sustain yourself with ten stacks of apples. This mod will force you to diversify your diet by eating a variety of foods; the more you eat one food type, the less hunger it will replenish. Eating other kinds of foods regularly will make it so all foods keep your belly full

- Progression system overhauled to include loads of new skills, with some minor bug fixes added as well

FIXED:
- Tornados should now occur much more rarely
- Coleman Yellowtail's speed reduced/ corrected
