Install The VanillaQuest Initiative

Step 1

Installing a modpack using the Technic Launcher is easy. If you don't already have the launcher downloaded, visit our download page to get the latest version.

Step 2

Type in the modpack name (The VanillaQuest Initiative) or paste the following url into the search box.

Step 3

Finally, click Install at the bottom right of the launcher after you select The VanillaQuest Initiative from the list on the left. The launcher will handle everything else!

Okay! The sharpness II quest has been fixed, and some of the other quests have been re-balanced. If you want to see the new physical changes to the world, you'll have to start a new one :/

It's come to my attention that the turn-in for the sharpness II enchanting book quest is broken. Look for an update with other fixes coming your way soon!

Yes, I'm aware that the quests are bugged to always say "unclaimed reward" regardless of whether or not the reward has already been taken. This is an hqm problem, I'm looking into it.

The latest version of the pack is up! If you downloaded the pack before you read this post, just delete the pack and redownload! You'll know it's the latest version if you open the quest book and there is a rules quest in the Humble Beginning questline!

Latest Update

I'm sketching out environments for VanillaQuest Initiative 2! I'm making a more engaging storyline instead of a step-by-step. It'll be more geared towards those of you who finished the first one. I'll keep you all updated as my creative process continues!
