Install The 1.12.2 Pack

Step 1

Installing a modpack using the Technic Launcher is easy. If you don't already have the launcher downloaded, visit our download page to get the latest version.

Step 2

Type in the modpack name (The 1.12.2 Pack) or paste the following url into the search box.

Step 3

Finally, click Install at the bottom right of the launcher after you select The 1.12.2 Pack from the list on the left. The launcher will handle everything else!

The 1.12.2 Pack updated to version 1.5.3

Maintenance update!

Changes:
• Added ReForbidden Magic & Ichorium Kit, two new Thaumcraft addons porting content from 1.7.10! Also added Thaumic Computers, IC2 Crop-Breeding Plugin, Universal Tweaks, Startup Timer, UniQ, ModTweaker & MTLib.
• Updated 25 mods to their latest versions, with some important fixes and improvements and even some new features (Wireless Crafting Terminal!).
• Some configuration & script improvements: added liquid Yellorium for the Smeltery, unified the different seed oils from different mods for easier usage, added new world generation structures, and other smaller improvements.
• Removed 9 superseded mods due to the addition of Universal Tweaks.

The update is now available under Latest Version in the launcher modpack options.

Hey there, i got two questions. 1. Is it safe to update the mod pack, while having a few other mods installed on top of your mod selection? Like, will it delete any custom files i've placed into the modpack folder? 2. I'm having really weird graphic bugs. I've looked through the mod list quite a few times now and i'm pretty confused. For reference: I added OptiFine and so far it seems to work good. However, the enderman are completely white for example, there is no block and liquid animations playing and the leaves are non-transparent. It doesn't matter what options i pick in optifine, it doesn't change anything. Any idea what mod could cause that?

It will delete the custom additions, you should manually re-add them after the update. Regarding the issue, could you go to the "Help" section to report it? Will try to help over there!

The server side of this update is having massive issues in regard to updating the world. The error is something in regards to mystcraft dimensions, and won't let me update the world even if I delete mystcraft related things. Before you ask, yes I did it right, and have even looked through the discord for an answer on this. Would love to fix this as I love thaumcraft so please help! ;-;
