Install The 1.12.2 Pack

Step 1

Installing a modpack using the Technic Launcher is easy. If you don't already have the launcher downloaded, visit our download page to get the latest version.

Step 2

Type in the modpack name (The 1.12.2 Pack) or paste the following url into the search box.

Step 3

Finally, click Install at the bottom right of the launcher after you select The 1.12.2 Pack from the list on the left. The launcher will handle everything else!

The 1.12.2 Pack updated to version 1.4.0

This new year is going to be magical, or at least this new year's modpack update! This is the 4th major update of the modpack, and it's all about magical additions, alongside other smaller changes. We have 8 new mods! Changes: • Added Thaumic Augmentation, Crimson Revelations & Lost Magic. Also added Logistics Pipes! • Added Smooth Scrolling Everywhere, Gravitation Suite Patcher, and IC2 Patcher, for a better playing experience. • Replaced Treecapitator with HT's TreeChop mod, which offers a better & less buggy tree chopping experience! • A few config tweaks: significantly lowered ExtraPlanets' radiation effects, enabled Thaumic JEI's aspect scanning, and other smaller changes & fixes. • Updated Forge, and 17 mods to their latest versions. Some of these updates contain important bug fixes, and new features. This update is currently available in the Latest branch and hopefully soon will be pushed to the Recommended branch. Will "Draconic Evolution" be added to the modpack in the future? It is one of the best lategame mods in my opinion.

I updated and now something is attacking me even though nothing is around and I have no effects. Then my game crashes after just a few seconds of this. The crash report shows unexpected error.

The "something attacking me" part was my own fault lol. It is not related to the update.

Any plans on publishing what mods were updated and to/from what versions?

Unfortunately all the changelogger tools I was using no longer work! If you need to know the exact changes I'd suggest to use a tool such as WinMerge.
