SpacePak Version 0.7.1

Hi! The modpack's download link wasn't working for a while there, it's fixed now.
I've been getting questions about how and when the Minecraft version gets updated. basically, once all of the mods in the pack have been updated to the next version of Minecraft.
I've swung back around to the technical underbelly of Spacepak. Expect lots of bugfixes and mod updates. Also, now would be an excellent time to ask about any problems you've been having.
Sorry about the lack of response from me lately; I've been playing an insatiable amount of Space Engineers recently and ignoring my modpack duties.
I'm thinking about changing the pack's name. It will probably happen within the patch that will be released soon.
Someone pointed out to me that Spacepak has been growing at about 1000 downloads per week. That works out to about 142 people per day, which astounds me.
We're going to run the server without bukkit, and a standard generated world at first, no plugins. If we have hacking/griefing problems, we'll introduce bukkit, though it will take extra time to do so.
Server Progress Update: While we sort out hardware problems, we've also been looking into online server hosting services that allow custom modpack support. It may work out that we just hire a third party to host the server for us.
Server Progress Update: Solving hardware issues. Apparently modded Minecraft servers don't like SSDs.
We've reached 10,000 downloads! This pack has come far in the year it has existed, thank you to everyone who plays it, you've motivated our small group to continue developing it.
If anyone has any questions or recommendations for the newest update, I would love to hear them. Head over to the discussion tab if you have anything to say.
Official Server Progress Update: We have a functional windows version of the server build, which we can re-work to work within Linux.
Just to float the community over while we develop the server, we're about to release a public server package, so community-hosted stuff can start popping up! We'll have it to you by this time next week.
Excellent additions to the latest update! If you have any suggestions for some little-known mods that I wouldn't find on my own, you can post them into the discussion tab on the Technic website.
If you're not watching the E3 live streams, I highly recommend you go check them out. The Xbox One reveals were especially cool.
The server build is coming along smoothly; we need to finalize a few mods and make it run a little better with Linux, and we'll we ready for the public soon.
The next update will be weaponry-related. I am also getting mods which have lots of new sounds and models, which broadens the number of cool custom NPCs you can make.
Server Build is running expect a server in the coming weeks!

People have also been asking about Java: As far as I can tell, the latest version of Java works with the modpack. If anyone is having Java problems, please let us know so we can investigate.
People have been asking a lot bout the white-listed server: We got absolutely flooded with applications. So much so that we can just go ahead with a open server. Like I said before, there's more information at the bottom of the Overview page.
