SpacePak Version 0.7.1

created by Bugblatter33 on Minecraft 1.7.10
The white-listed server project was a success, people showed a lot of interest. We've decided to move straight on ahead with a small-scale public server. Read about it at the bottom of the overview page on the website if you're interested.
There was a problem with the latest update; Dropbox wasn't serving the pack correctly. Along with a few issues related to Galacticraft, it's been fixed in the 0.7.1 patch.
FInally, we're in 1.7.10! The mod list is drastically different, and we had to drop Starmine D:, but in the end I think we did OK. Check out the changelog for more specific stuffs.

If you're still having Java problems, you may want to take a look at this: tutorial:http://www.minecraftforum.net/forums/mapping-and-modding/minecraft-mods/2206446-forge-1-6-4-1-7-2-java-8-compatibility-patch

The pack download will be down for a little while; I have to get the 1.7.10 version onto the Tekkit Website.
Remember a few millennia ago, when I talked about updating the pack to 1.7.10? Well, it's almost done, and drastically different from the current pack. I hope you guys like it!

I would like to remind everyone that I am aware that the modpack does not work on the latest version of Java. If you want to continue playing this modpack (and indeed any modded minecraft), downgrade your Java to the last version.
This Java thing is an issue entirely beyond my control, and the Technic guys need to somehow resolve this ASAP. I recommend downgrading your Java, until this happens.
OK, I've done the all-important internet search, and discovered (I'm somewhat embarrassed I didn't realize this in the first place) that it is impossible to play modded Minecraft at all with the latest Java update.
We're currently tracking down exactly what mod is broken with Java. Everyone who's game has broken with the latest Java update, we're working on a solution.
The amount of feedback we've been getting through the discussion page is excellent. Thanks you guys!
By the way, It would be cool if we started to use the discussion tab, if you have something with the modpack you want to talk about head over there.
You guys seem really interested in this! It's enjoyable (and sometimes really funny) to read all of these! Keep them coming, in, you guys are awesome.
We should have mentioned before, I need your minecraft username in the application. Also, make a good case as to why you want to join.
Officially, the whitelisted server's apply mail is up. Send an E-mail to [email protected] if you're interested in joining the server. This same E-mail is just for general contact purposes, so shoot me and e-mail if you have anything to say.
There may be a white listed server soon. I would set up a e-mail for applications, and it may or may not work out depending on how many submissions we get. If this goes over well, there may even be a big public server in it for you guys...
1.7.10 version is coming along nicely. Like I said, there will be a few minor updates and other things for 1.6.4 before 1.7.10 comes out, one of those is coming soon.

Latest Update

Hi! The modpack's download link wasn't working for a while there, it's fixed now.
