**Q2: **Why do I have to sign an NDA? **A2: **Many reasons, but most importantly related to the nature of some of our research project being funded by military interests. As the nature of these projects could be potentially damaging to our reputation, the reputation of other entities, and to our ability to patent discoveries made as a result of these projects, we require all employees to sign and abide by a non-disclosure agreement.

Q3: Does KTI do anything illegal? If not, why the need for secrecy? A3: In short, no. The need for secrecy is to ensure our profit margins are protected from outside influences or industrial sabotage. What I can say of it is that KimiTech HQ is a massive artificial satellite in geosynchronous orbit over the Pacific Ocean, and it may be populated by androids, nekomimi and/or extraplanar cosmic horrors.
