Basic Trouble-shooting:
If your game is taking a ridiculous amount of time, seemingly infinite, or is ungodly slow, then it is likely that you do not have sufficient memory allocated to the game. Make sure to click "Launcher Options" in the top right of the launcher, then select "Java Settings" from the tabs at the top of the new window. From there, make sure to allocate sufficient memory to technic to ensure that the pack can run. This has been reported to be somewhere around 3-8 GB from users, but try different amounts of memory and see what works best. If you cannot allocate more than 1 GB of ram, then that means you do not have 64-bit java. Without 64-bit Java, you cannot allocate sufficient memory to Technic, and Minecraft will constantly run out of memory or not even load to begin with as a result. You can get 64-bit Java here if you wish: https://www.java.com/en/download/manual.jsp It is under the "Windows" sections, called "Windows Offline (64-bit)
