Install Almura 2.5 - Origins

Step 1

Installing a modpack using the Technic Launcher is easy. If you don't already have the launcher downloaded, visit our download page to get the latest version.

Step 2

Type in the modpack name (Almura 2.5 - Origins) or paste the following url into the search box.

Step 3

Finally, click Install at the bottom right of the launcher after you select Almura 2.5 - Origins from the list on the left. The launcher will handle everything else!

Almura is a collection of many modpacks as well as many of our own developed customizations. The AlmuraDev team has built this pack. Our github page is: http://www.Github.com/AlmuraDev/

The following mods are included in this Modpack:

  • Almura
  • Bibliocraft
  • Carpenter's Blocks
  • NotEnoughItems
  • Railcraft

We are running this server on a custom version of Cauldron. Using a Intel 6700k Core i7 processor with 32gb of PC4-3200 DDR4 ram and a 512mb PCI-Express M2 Solid State Drive. This server is on a fiber internet connection for low latency as well.

Developers include:

  • Dockter (AlmuraDev Leader, previously Spoutcraft Senior Dev)
  • Zidane (AlmuraDev & Sponge Powered Leader, Former SpoutDev Team)
  • Grinch (Almuradev, Sponge Powered and Former SpoutDev Team member).

Java 8 64-bit is required. Make sure that you sent the "Memory Settings" to at least 1gb under "Launcher Options", "Java Settings". Failure to do so will probably result in your game crashing.

Your graphics hardware must also be capable of a stitched image size of at least 8192x8192.

Pushed build b135 this evening. Should fix a couple long standing issues and speed up FPS a bit.
