For those updating world from 3.5 to 3.6.1 - WARNING: BACKUP WORLD BEFORE UPDATING FROM 3.5. IT WILL LOAD, BUT MAY NOT WORK PROPERLY. If you have problems, replace your biomes o' plenty jar with https://bit.ly/2RWi2bD. We recommend making a new world!
Install Minecraft: Community Edition
Step 1
Installing a modpack using the Technic Launcher is easy. If you don't already have the launcher downloaded, visit our download page to get the latest version.
Step 2
Type in the modpack name (Minecraft: Community Edition) or paste the following url into the search box.
Step 3
Finally, click Install at the bottom right of the launcher after you select Minecraft: Community Edition from the list on the left. The launcher will handle everything else!
