Install Ultra Modded-Survival

Step 1

Installing a modpack using the Technic Launcher is easy. If you don't already have the launcher downloaded, visit our download page to get the latest version.

Step 2

Type in the modpack name (Ultra Modded-Survival) or paste the following url into the search box.

Step 3

Finally, click Install at the bottom right of the launcher after you select Ultra Modded-Survival from the list on the left. The launcher will handle everything else!

We'd prefer normal for easier importing of the world.

well, ive started in superflat. I do have world edit installed, so i probably will just copy paste it into a normal world and make it look natural.

We have Recurrent Complex, that mod works way better for structures, use that to import into a natural world :)

No, email has a file limit of 5 MB. Use a real service like DropBox, it's free.

Are there any special areas that are needed like a wall for signs or a area for a thing that does a thing or something? Because i just have a good looking area with a few random buildings.

Well, ive spent the last 2 hours using a normal world, i'll try to copy it into a BoP one. Shouldnt be too hard if i can find a flat area

You mean where do I find it? Find the download button for your file and right click it and copy the link.

Cool, but I have a bunch of questions. Does this have to use blocks from mods in the pack, or can it be mostly vanilla? I'm asking because well... the modpack lags quite a lot and has extremely low FPS for me in singeplayer, even in a flat world.. any tips on how to improve this? And this happens to me in nearly every modpack, this one no exception, HOWEVER, the lag seems to drop significantly when playing in a multiplayer server on most modpacks, so I assume for this one as well, and because of this I was somewhat disappointed to see the server not being online yet.

Your choice, though I'd recommend taking advantage of modded blocks. Sorry to hear about lag, you may want to consider investing in a decent PC.

Couple more questions... - Will there be a starting kit, if so what is in it? - Do you care about size? - Any specific special things you will need in spawn? - Are there any items that will be banned on the server that I shouldn't use in spawn? Thanks for anything you can provide! - Wrockies

random tp, there will be a starting kit (not revealing what's in it yet), size is up to you, as for blocks just go crazy but don't use blocks that are known to be unstable (as in crash the game or be grief able)

I have a bit of a problem right now: The area that I am copy pasting into the correct world is too large for my computer to handle. Also the mod is bugging out and wont let me specify an area for copying. Should i just continue and let you guys handle it with the copy pasting or try to fix the bug?

Hey Amaxter, I know that you would probably never reply to this, but would you happen to need staff for the new server? I have been co-owner, admin and many positions multiple times, and have worked for many servers. I understand if your staff is full, but if I could perhaps apply for a position I would be honored and would love to help with the server. Thanks, Wrockies.

I have finally finished version 1.0.0 of my spawn. It looks ok, but i can improve it. Also the tutorials might have to be filled in by someone else, it would take me the rest of the time we have to finish

I'm currently working on filling in the empty spaces with trees and maybe a little farm for decor, and lots of the buildings look the exact same so i'm trying to add diffrences in each of them, like a flower pot or table or something. Also everything is really, really flat, so i'm trying to add little hills and stuff.

I've tried to make the spawn look natural, and not repetitive. the buildings on the side are tutorial buildings (You can see how long that would take to fill with text) and rules and stuff like that. There is also a hedge maze, just dont ask. I got bored

To be honest I'm not sure, you might want to start from scratch, It doesn't look like a real hub, and while the mod tutorials are a cool idea frankly they're overly ambitious and unnecessary. The spawn seems cluttered, not very well mapped out or even, it's just says "player's base" to me and not a server hub. Try starting over going for a more practical and central spawn.

that was what i was thinking, it was mostly just testing with what would fit well with the idea of "Hub" and not much stuff did but i thought i might as well get feedback to see what others thought

Hello maxx, I opened your world (see what im up against) and I didnt spawn where the spawn is. Do you perhaps have coordinates with its location?

i think since u have a mac u have to go into the save file and unzip all the files that r .zip idk about windows but i think windows is different

No, the reason I didnt spawn there is because you cant change the world spawn without plugins. If you do /spawnpoint it changes your own sppawn point, not the world default. And on MAc it just autotmatically decompressed the files, if it didnt, the world would be unable to open.

no it is that cus i loaded the file myself and it spawned me with the jerry tree and i removed in in my world and my spawn is by the jerry tree

Thats becasue its your profile name. I am not maxx0107, I am Wrockies, it saves spawnpoints entirely different to players, due to lan worlds, it doesnt recognize us as one
