Install Hexxit

Step 1

Installing a modpack using the Technic Launcher is easy. If you don't already have the launcher downloaded, visit our download page to get the latest version.

Step 2

Type in the modpack name (Hexxit) or paste the following url into the search box.

Step 3

Finally, click Install at the bottom right of the launcher after you select Hexxit from the list on the left. The launcher will handle everything else!

A mod was added (Lumy Skin Patch), which brings back your super nice Minecraft skins (and if you play with other people, theirs as well!).

How about bugfixes or updates? Maybe in 10 years what some people can't fix and our developers will do it in an hour. But just add a skin patch mod that's been out for a year and we've already equipped most of our community with it.

Oh yes just to note how much effort you put into the update, you forgot to fix the sounds haha. Or what about the Enchantig-Plus mod which already has more 1.5.2 updates :D So sad to add a skin fix mod 1 year later. Give me right on the repository to update it and I'll make Hexxit Great again -Thanks

i say the same do something on the mods YOU claimed to be yours there are some out there that are even better then this old thing UPDATE it and make it something really you from technik launcher CLAIMED hexxit to YOUR mod pack SO do something updated it and make it better its hard to belief that you are so slow, people out there did make hexxit something better but you that claimed the HEXXIT mod pack are slower then an snail really people want updates not a damn Skin fix WOW who cares about skins really we wanna play the mod not the Fricking SKINS okay

can you guys fix some of the ingame mods and make them up to date ? their exteremly outdated some of them are really wips like witchery

It is great to see that someone actually cares about this pack, even if this is a very small update it is still an update. Please update it more. It was a really good modpack, but it is very outdated - that is not a big problem but some bug-fixing and mod adding would help. Hope to see more updates in the future! :)

Don't worry now that he mentioned that ,we all can now know/understand that none of us have regular (probably old) minecraft sounds that aren't even heard in the old minecraft like cows (sounds that blocks make besides meteors make sound) All the new sounds that you'd never see Sounds for example from the mod would include the new animals, the new mobs (maybe some) and i definitly noticed those gem pieces also make sound. (including the fact this is a Mod and not plain o'l minecraft) that you will have animals and blocks that are different from that and they may not "mix" with the old sounds from minecraft. Anyways, I am not sure if thats why but it could be... hope that helps a little :) (Sorry for bad grammar lol)

The volume does not work at all, I've played with the settings and nothing works there is no game volume. Is there a fix to this?

the nei mod seems to be bugged. istead of showing the recipe, when i click anything, it just gives me a stack of that item

This is funny because i added Lumy Skin Patch into my hexxit fork years ago, i actually ended up contacting the mod developer because 64 by 64 skins were completely broken, and he replied and fixed the mod, to actually see this get added to hexxit years later is hilarious.

Latest Update
Lumy Skin Patch has been updated to 1.0.13 so skins should be working again. Existing modpack builds were updated to the fixed version.
