For some reason my Grid Power usage is 100k+ and my GP is 200k+ in daytime.... I just started a new game and I don't know what caused this, it's pretty scary though

Is anyone else having an issue where the game crashes when RF tools manual is opened? I'm not having any other problems but when I open the book it crashes every time. java 64 bit 10G RAM running latest version of everything from the technic modpack
