What's the server down for? It's been down for hours.

Who knows. Maybe rebuilding spawn? Fixing lag? I'm wondering the same thing.
Well, we launched it a day ago and we found many issues, I am not a part of the work, but I believe many of those issues are currently being worked on. I presume it will be back soon.
Wrockies, you have already forgotten me? ;-; And I thought we had something together. I meant more to do with the ridiculous amount of time it's been down. If I didn't know any better, I'd say it was just taken down and is only being worked on in leisure time. 1 or 2 hours is normal for pretty big maintenance, but this is kind of ridiculous.
I apologize its been down for a long time blaf, but by releasing it Sunday we knew we would run into problems but the players wanted it open. If you want to wait for the server to be more stable then wait a bit :) Im sorry we couldnt get the server up better sooner.
Is there anything that I can do to make it go faster or help out in any way?

Maybe he's preloading the chunks? Preloading really helps when a server starts out.

Apologies for being crude about the server. I wasn't in a very good mood when i joined. The rant i gave about a day ago should instead be ignored. Keep inventory was what set me off, since it's gone i figured I should revisit the server. Shout out to Wrockies for being a good mod/chat-mod!

Server is up and running and I have been enjoying it! Just to add a little discussion and possibly an idea. You could use a tornado sensor or a few of them around the initial spawn when you first join so when a tornado approaches a redstone signal is sent out, which would hit a command block that could cancel the tornado. You know? Just so when people join the spawn is not ravaged :3

May I recommend a mod or two? I think the backpacks already in the mod are a bit hard to make, so I would like to recommend two backpack mods: Backpacks for 1.6-1.8 http://www.minecraftforum.net/forums/mapping-and-modding/minecraft-mods/1286124-1-6-x-1-7-x-backpacks-v-2-0-1 , and Adventure Backpacks for 1.7.10 http://minecraft-forum.net/minecraft-mods-downloads/1-7-10-adventure-backpack-mod-download/#.VcjfoSZVhBc Choose the one you like most and add it if you'd like.

I hope people aren't already complaining about the server or any of its plugins, it has been up for a literal 12 hours! If there's things they need to fix or you think they should, just tell them and they MIGHT do it in a server update. This is UMS for christ's sake, live a little! I'm sure it's not easy running a server with 129 mods, so give em some slack. I'm just happy that a dedicated server is up at all! :D

Hello IYI, since the server is new lag is going to be very present for the first couple of days. As players explore the server has to generate the new chunks, not to mention the fact that as its new it will have more players on it, which will taper off, and lag will greatly lessen. Unfortunately, you will find some lag on any server with this modpack, it takes a lot to run and modpack servers cant usually afford large amounts of ram.

I've become a vampire, but I've noticed I'm taking damage from all sources, as if I wasn't one. I even die in the sun, and stuff. I've taken all armour off, and still take damage from normal MC mobs. Could the morph mod be interfering with it, or what's going on?

Odd. I had read on the wiki that vampires would be immune to all damage, save for fire and the sun.
Alright. I found out vampires do in fact take damage from all sources, but do not die to most sources. Kinda bums me out, but ah well.
Their is a bug with me or the UMS sever where I type characters in chat & deletes have of what I say and says I'm using foul language. The sever cut the connection of my PC off the sever off when i tried to write two sentences.i'm not saying any bad words in the sever. Can The sever owner fix that or UMS mod pack author. If can thank you

Some words stopped arent just swearwords, it includes advertising and lag etc,
I'm probably just an idiot but does anyone know why no matter where I spawn I am surrounded by mobs?

Because Nevermine 2: Advent of Ascension adds a ton of mobs to the game. Even in daylight. You are never truly safe. Starting out can be pretty tough, just gotta run to cover as soon as you spawn and do your best to hack down a tree before you get eaten.
Is there a way to make mobs of different kind not attack u but the same kind can in the morph.cfg because when i tried it changed back to the normal setting

I updated to 1.1.2b and when I joined my friends server thats on 1.1.2a it let me in, but spawned me in a complete new place and all of my inventory is gone. I went and try to downgrade to 1.1.2a and it would let me downgrade before but now it wont let me downgrade can someone help me??
