Install The Spice of Life

Step 1

Installing a modpack using the Technic Launcher is easy. If you don't already have the launcher downloaded, visit our download page to get the latest version.

Step 2

Type in the modpack name (The Spice of Life) or paste the following url into the search box.

Step 3

Finally, click Install at the bottom right of the launcher after you select The Spice of Life from the list on the left. The launcher will handle everything else!

As has been said, variety is the spice of life. We've taken that phrase to heart and created a wonderfully diverse modpack for 1.16.4. While not as feature packed as the popular 1.7.10 and 1.12.2 packs, we've attempted to emulate their commitment to a diversity of mods.

As more mods are updated for 1.16.5 we will continue adding them to ensure every playstyle is catered to.

This modpack uses a lot of alpha builds of mods until more stable versions are available for 1.16.5. Please keep this in mind when playing. Some features will be missing, others will be broken, and some can cause crashes. We'll be updating these mods as more stable versions are released.

Note: At the 1.0 release, there will be some mods trimmed out of the pack to make it a little slimmer. This does mean old saves may not be compatible.

Latest Update

Update 0.3.5 adds a few new mods. The main addition is MineColonies. The other mods are small optimization and tweaks to improve performance.
