Install Tekxit Aether II Games

Step 1

Installing a modpack using the Technic Launcher is easy. If you don't already have the launcher downloaded, visit our download page to get the latest version.

Step 2

Type in the modpack name (Tekxit Aether II Games) or paste the following url into the search box.

Step 3

Finally, click Install at the bottom right of the launcher after you select Tekxit Aether II Games from the list on the left. The launcher will handle everything else!

Major Performance Change. Removed Opis mod. the Opis mod is an admin mod, that basically starts its own Database program to show you where / which chunks/areas have a higher amount of lag on your server. Great mod, I personally have not yet used it, due to not having any lag issues even with meteor's falling from the sky. The reason I removed it: Client starts at 3.2 gb ram... Client runs at 4.5 gb ram in 10 minutes client runs at 5.2 gb in 20 minutes 2 hours runs at 17.7 gb of ram... Major memory leak. Once removed. Now the client runs at 1.9 gb ram Server runs at 2.3 gb ram without any plugins. Also: Duplicated map in the top right corner... Opis also includes mapwriter.... which is a minimap mod. Rei's minimap mod does the same things. So its a win win situation. Everything is running very quick now. no complaints from anyone yet.
