Overview

Sonic Rising is more of a fan project than a modpack. It combines elements of many many sonic games. Generating a new world will load a massive preset map full of custom npc enemies, townspeople, etc. There are 7 zones, 7 emeralds, 7 bosses, and a final boss battle that will leave you breathless. Each area has epic and nostalgic soundtracks!

Each zone has something special to offer. whether it be unique enemies, traps, environments, or even... gravity puzzles?!

Character Selection

Sonic- Fast and good at air maneuvering. Special move mimics boost saga games with a massive speed boost and power to demolish enemies in your way.

Tails- Can jump very high and has a small extra jump. His special move lets him leap insane distances around the maps.

Knuckles- Jumps low, but glides and climbs up walls. Has increased strength. His special move increases his speed and power.

Shadow- Can stop time with chaos control and walk around frozen enemies/projectiles! Plays similar to sonic.

Silver- Can hover in midair briefly and walk on hidden routes. His special move fires psychokinetic blasts.

Blaze- Can lob fireballs at unsuspecting foes. Falls slower and jumps higher for a more acrobatic style.

Amy- Summons a powerful hammer to attack foes with. Plays like Blaze.

Since you can only choose one per file, replay value is high! Can you beat the game with every character?

Customize your character! Ears, Tails, wings available with the ESC menu. Thanks to mods, it supports newer skins as well! Soon there will be abilities and such to buy with rings to make each character more unique.

Other Info

A couple of areas of old games were recreated, and many new ones were made to keep things fresh!

Old enemies are back, stronger than ever, returning to haunt Sonic and friends. To make things worse, new foes arrive from the shadows! Do you have what it takes to stop the mysterious "Maxie" and her plot to ascend to godhood? Fight 8 boss fights each with a unique method of taking them down!

Multiplayer Support

Yes, this is a fully multiplayer integrated map adventure! In fact, it is a better experience played with friends. Play on LAN or make a free Hamachi account.

Known Bugs

-Knuckles is glitchy in gravity sections, but can still manuever around things -Sonic and Shadow get stuck in the ground. The dejammer in the quest menu fixes this!

Update Plans

Maybe a bonus zone.

-Way more zones many updates down the line for an impressive postgame.
