Minecraft is most fun when it is most hard.
If you believe that, then this is the modpack for you. Chock full of scary monsters and sketchy magic, this modpack doesn't mess around. Early game should also be a little harder because of Primal Core, not to mention all the brutal monsters.
My recommendation is to run this with difficulty=3. It's delightful.
