Come one come all, gather round, gather round! Today we discuss the majesty of private servers, more specifically Ragetech Xtra! With a custom modpack, website, and professional management, Ragetech Xtra private server is set to become a lovely community. This Ragetech spinoff has been redesigned to accommodate more varied gameplay, with a variety of mod genres, and many more mods than its predecessor. Yes, you heard it hear. Ragetech Xtra far outpaces its hardcore origins, allowing players to enjoy the mods, rather than learn to despise them!
Now, competition aside, let us discuss the actual changes. Where Ragetech targets a more hardcore demographic, Ragetech Xtra is expanded and simplified for users who desire to play with whichever mods they chose. We wanted a modpack that a private server community could have fun with, putting aside any hardcore progression or grinding. Ragetech Xtra is designed specifically for a private server experience and as such opens its doors for any and every type of player.
Now, let’s get into what this post was made for, the private server. As was previously mentioned, Ragetech Xtra is a custom modpack designed specifically for a private server experience. This private server is brought to you by us, the modpack creators. Hosted on our own dedicated server machine, the Ragetech Xtra private server matches the standards previously set by the original Ragetech server. Not only this, but the Ragetech Xtra private server also has it’s own forums, server communication group, and application page maintained by our server mascot, Greg.
Our goal for the Ragetech Xtra private server, is to create a private community for mature Minecraft players who want a comfortable place to enjoy modded-Minecraft without the hassle that younger players often create on public servers. Targeted towards a demographic of eighteen years or older, our private server maintains a mature environment for experienced players. The server modpack is also designed for this demographic, with a variety of in depth mods, that often require a more intensive general knowledge to truly utilize all aspects of the mods*.

Due to our desire for a mature and experienced community of Minecraft players, the application process is rather intensive. First we shall discuss the requirements set out in order to isolate the players who are most likely to fit our player expectations.
Requirements:
Eighteen years of age, or older on the date of application submission.
Moderate experience with modded Minecraft.
Be have/be willing to get Discord the communication software.
Be able to play at least twice a week.
Note: All requirements bar the age requirement are open to exception if circumstances demand.
Requirements out of the way, it’s time to talk about the application process itself. Ragetech Xtra’s application is rather unique in terms of writing your application. Our unconventional application page involves the guidance of our dastardly sarcastic mascot Greg. If you can survive the onslaught of insinuated insults whilst filling out your application, and end up submitting it if only to spite Greg, your application will end up in one of our inboxes for review. From there we will assess your application and send you an acceptance or denial message through Greg.
Now, for those who fit our acceptance guideline, you will receive a message through Discord, the software we will be using for server communication. We will then have a conversation with you regarding your interest in joining the Ragetech Xtra private server. This conversation, if sufficiently cordial, will result in the sharing of our Discord server chat group invitation link.
Once this process has concluded, you’ll be whitelisted on the official Ragetech Xtra private server!
