Currently there is no item loss on death. This will change when I find something compatible with the players claims.
All Xray use is monitored, I also understand the fact that hunting down the ore is obnoxious, if you activate it and mine any ore within +/- 1000 of spawn on the map expect a ban, if you must use it, use it outside of that range, and only mine what you need.
