The official server for this mod-pack is rife with admin abuse, nepotism, and unfair advantages given to only a select few. -------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Recently a "wild" was removed, the reason it was removed is because it was possible to obtain all sorts of other jutsu by merely running around in it. This allowed players that were around during it to massively progress in ways independent of the general populous. -------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Abilities that were supposed to be locked behind quest lines, some abilities that aren't even available in the story version of the server. Players were able to acquire things that have not even been added yet. -------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Obviously this was a massive exploit and provided unfair advantage to the players that participated, yet the admins of the official server did not force a rollback, did not reset any player data and have allowed these favored few to continue to exist, uninhibited. -------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- The server story quest line rewards the player with "crate keys" that can be used to 'roll' for weapons in the spawn area. These weapons are where much of the early player progression comes from, it is nearly impossible to complete the main story without first acquiring a decent weapon. This is due to the randomness that comes from first joining the server and acquiring base abilities. It is a coin flip whether you get something meaningfully useful or not. -------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Now, this might not seem like much of a big deal, however these 'crate keys' are a limited resource. Once you use them, they are gone. The only way to acquire more is by completing more of the story mode quest line. So, when you run out of story mode quests to complete, you also run out of the source of 'crate keys'. -------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- With all of this context, the severe lack of fairness in this server becomes readily apparent. My personal experience thus far is such; I joined as a new player, struggled with the mechanics of the game due to a complete lack of tutorial, and eventually completed all story mode quests available to me while using my 'crate keys' as they came to upgrade my weapons (the only way at the time to progress). -------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Now, the only way for me to progress further is to participate in the "Chunin Exams", essentially a pvp tournament. -------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- But wait, there's more. In the past 24 hours, a new 'crate' has been added to spawn. What is in this crate you might ask? All sorts of other jutsu and abilities based on the naruto franchise. -------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Why is this significant? Well, every new player has used nearly all of their 'crate keys' in order to get a weapon that is good enough to allow them to progress through the story line. In doing so, have completely run out of chances to interact with this new 'jutsu crate' at spawn. -------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- A 'jutsu crate' that was added last minute before a massive pvp event. -------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- It is my recommendation that any prospective new players interested in joining this server be aware that you will be competing against other players who have an unfair advantage over you that is actively endorsed by server leadership. -------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- I am not interested in opening a dialogue with these staff members, I have no confidence in them making any changes and fear retaliation for speaking out against them.

The pack is great and it looks like fun but there's absolutely no support or help with any of the starting quests. Highly recommend another naruto mod since most of people or admins don't seem to care about new players
